I have been to other dealerships where the service is slow and you sit around it seems forever. I live in Glenview and have appreciated Jennings staying in business over the years as so many dealerships have gone out. I see why they have a good reputation. Job well done. More

We explored our options knowing we already wanted an Equinox in the future. We had no idea it would be so soon and Jerry helped us get there by laying out a realistic path to our automotive dream. He found us a 2015 Equinox with 21k miles on it with a nice amount of bells and whistles. He saved us a good two years at least on another 2014 Equinox with about 40k+ miles on it with a negligible difference in price. Jerry was friendly and respectful throughout the entire process and I would definitely buy another car from him in the future and send my family and friends his way. Thank you, Jerry! More

No nonsense! Just nice people. Just bought a used Volkswagen from Jennings. Very happy with the car so far and really appreciated the way my wife and I were treated at Jennings. Just bought a used Volkswagen from Jennings. Very happy with the car so far and really appreciated the way my wife and I were treated at Jennings. I've had the stereotypical (bad) experience at other dealerships in the Chicago area and was relieved that Jennings just kept it simple and didn't push a bunch of nonsense at us. We were offered a few extended warranty products in the finance office which we declined and that was it. I was kind of dreading the car buying routine going in but everything was very straightforward at Jennings. Lasting impressions: - I thought the car we purchased was priced fairly. - Jerry allowed for an extended test drive by myself in the car and again later for my wife to drive. - Jerry had no problem with us taking the car to a nearby garage for a 3rd party inspection. - We were treated with respect and never pressured. - Used the USAA car buying service and USAA financing and Jennings was OK with that and didn't push their own financing, this is not always true at other dealerships. The only negative I can scrounge up was it took an hour or two to actually go through all the paperwork and details once we decided to buy the car but I think that's pretty standard. Happy to recommend Jennings. Thanks again Jerry! More
Service Dept Sucks !! I took my 2011 Impala for service because the ABS & traction control would activate upon making a left turn. Ray in service guaranteed me that my car I took my 2011 Impala for service because the ABS & traction control would activate upon making a left turn. Ray in service guaranteed me that my car would be fixed with his recommendations, I trusted Jennings & agreed to pay over $ 400 for the repair. Upon picking up my car, I did not even make it off the lot when the noise came back instantly ! I went back & asked Ray from service if he even test drove the car ! HE suggested I leave the car for further checking, fine , I did . He then calls me & said they put electric grease on the wheel bearing plugs & it would be fixed. Well ...it didn't . When I called back , he suggested replacing both front wheel bearings. So I asked ...'why didn't you tell me that in the first place ? ' . When I dropped off the car originally , I specifically asked him ' will this repair you are suggesting fix my car ? ' He said without a doubt 'YES' . So I trusted him. Bad idea !! I am out more than $ 400 & my car is the exact same as when I brought it in . I am sharing my experience with as many people as I possibly could because Jennings Chevrolet & Ray the unknowledgable service kid ripped me off !!! My next step is Yelp & then BBB. More

There service department is terrific with day and evening hours. My service manager Ken recommended working with Debbie Ress for my recent purchase. She was personable, helpful, yet not pushy. She made everything work with ease on my schedule, even picked me up and brought me to the dealer for the final purchase. More
