GREAT DAY!! PERFECT AUTO!! FROM THE TIME WE FIRST PULLED INTO JENKINS AND WERE MEET AT THE DOOR, OUR EXPERIENCE WAS FANTASTIC! RE-WIND: FROM THE TIME I WAS RESEARCHING JENKI FROM THE TIME WE FIRST PULLED INTO JENKINS AND WERE MEET AT THE DOOR, OUR EXPERIENCE WAS FANTASTIC! RE-WIND: FROM THE TIME I WAS RESEARCHING JENKINS ON THE COMPUTER & BLUE SKY/ROAD LOANS?? FOR FINANCING, THE PHONE RANG. IT WAS BRANDON FROM JENKINS! I WAS STILL ON THE COMPUTER WHEN THE PHONE RANG AND IT WAS BRANDON REPLYING TO MY APPLICATION!!! NOW, THAT'S SERVICE! MY WIFE & I WENT TO JENKINS 9/22/15 TO MEET WITH THEM. 6 HRS LATER, WITH JEFF MORGAN (SORRY ABOUT THE 6 HRS!) WE GOT WHAT WE FEEL WAS THE DEAL OF OUR LIFE-TIME! WE PURCHASED A 2012 CHEVROLET CRUZE, SIVER GRAY.....PERFECT! WE HAD NEVER PURCHASED WHAT TO US WAS A "NEW" CAR BEFORE IN 75 YEARS! WE WERE STILL DRIVING AN '89 FORD TAURUS. JENKINS PERSONNEL NOT ONLY GAVE US A WONDERFUL TRADE-IN, BUT TREATED US LIKE ROYALTY THE WHOLE 6HRS, I THINK I ATE MOST OF THEIR DONUTS!!! IT'S LIKE ALL THE PERSONNEL COULD NOT DO ENOUGH FOR US! Couldn't get a reasonable deal on a new vehicle. I've bargained for and purchased over 25 new vehicles in my lifetime and rarely have I come across a dealership that expects to make the margin that J I've bargained for and purchased over 25 new vehicles in my lifetime and rarely have I come across a dealership that expects to make the margin that Jenkins apparently expects to make on a deal. My advice to anyone trying to purchase a car without financing, on a cash or straight across trade, is to not waste your time at this dealership. I know a dealership needs to make money and have no issue with that but based on my research and conservative calculations their margin goal in my particular case...including new car and trade...was north of 15%. The devil is in the details and little added charges such as pin striping, etc... things a potential buyer may not want and certainly many would prefer to have an option to choose...especially at the price they charge for these dealer add ons. Their pricing doesn't align with the "build a car" online on the Mazda website. The personnel are very friendly and courteous, no complaints there... and the follow up was acceptable... but their pricing seems unreasonable in comparison to other area dealerships. Perhaps the sales experience would be better if financing were needed. Update: The day after I wrote this review I went to Cory Fairbanks Mazda in Longwood and bought a new MX5 spec'd exactly like I tried to purchase at Jenkins and the difference in the deal Jenkins offered and what I purchased the car for at Cory Fairbanks was over $4,000. This was confirmation of what I suspected. I won't be going back to Jenkins to try to purchase vehicles in the future. More
