Truly Insulting! I was very disappointed with Jenkins Kia. Even though I do not have a perfect credit store I went in anyway. I wanted to see Mr. Blanco that day, but I was very disappointed with Jenkins Kia. Even though I do not have a perfect credit store I went in anyway. I wanted to see Mr. Blanco that day, but he was unavailable as he was buying a house. Instead someone else attended to me. I test drove a Kia soul. We then did the credit application. They did not want to finance me unless I had someone cosign or I could cough up 1,500 to 1,800 down. I was HORRIBLY insulted and HUMILIATED when the young man told me that they didn't want it to come down to me buying food or making a car payment! I was absolutely shocked that this was said to me!!! It would have been a lot more polite to simply just say" I'm sorry, you do not fit the income criteria".At no time did they ever ask me what my mortgage payment was, and it is under 200 a month! I have probably told at least 50 people about my experience there, I ended up going to Drive Time and was treated with the utmost respect and got the car I wanted at the price I wanted! N. Diaz More

Honoring of warranty We live in Safety Harbor and our son was driving our 2012 Kia Sorento while attending UF. We had the car towed to Jenkins Kia after the engine stoppe We live in Safety Harbor and our son was driving our 2012 Kia Sorento while attending UF. We had the car towed to Jenkins Kia after the engine stopped while he was driving it. We had maintained and serviced the car regularly but the Kia dealership that we purchased the car from locally said we would have to submit all those records and even then the warranty might not be honored. Jenkins Kia never questioned us, initiated repairs right away and took care of replacing the engine immediately. Thomas kept us apprised of the timetable and my son said everyone was so nice when he picked up the car and they had even detailed it. My parents are thinking of buying a Kia and I told them it would be worth it to drive to Gainesville as everyone was so professional! More

Over the top care this dealership went way beyond any ones expectations. After a chance meeting with a trailer truck retread in the middle of my lane on I75 and a 3 ho this dealership went way beyond any ones expectations. After a chance meeting with a trailer truck retread in the middle of my lane on I75 and a 3 hour due to a poor experience with my roadside assistance, the sales department was willing to stay open past the closing time of 9pm. They also assisted me with finding a motel at 9:30 that had a food source near by. In the am, they picked me up brought me to the dealership and already had the car up on a lift and were evaluating its drivability. They assured me it was ok to drive and even gave me a preliminary estimate of the damage. All of this and no charge! I cannot emphasize enough what a great dealership this is.
