Very disappointed in service department I purchased 2 new vehicles from Citrus Kia and had always been pleased until my last visit to the service department. My ESC and ABS warning lights w I purchased 2 new vehicles from Citrus Kia and had always been pleased until my last visit to the service department. My ESC and ABS warning lights were on. I was immediately asked if I was told there would be a $50 charge to diagnose the problem. I said, "No, and had I known I would not have driven from Brooksville" because I knew I could go to my local auto parts store and have it diagnosed for free. My Kia Rondo is a 2007 with 70k miles. The service man agreed to waive the $50 diagnosis fee. Later I was told the problem was both real wheel speed sensors. It was explained to me that "the car was poorly designed" (I wasn't told this when I bought the car) and the entire rear end had to be taken off to replace the sensors so they were allowing 4 hours labor or $650. Since I was a "good" customer, they would charge me only $550. Long story short - I bought the speed sensors on Ebay for $30 each and a local garage installed them for $98. Total cost to me of less than $160, and all seems fine. It seemed to me that Kia was trying to take advantage of me because I am a recent widow. I did not note the names of the two service department men I spoke with. More

Oil change I recently went to Citrus KIA for my oil change, it was busy that day, so I went on the service line and waited, I then went inside to tell them I was I recently went to Citrus KIA for my oil change, it was busy that day, so I went on the service line and waited, I then went inside to tell them I was there, wasn't in the dealership 5 minutes when, Paul DuVall came and told me my car was hit and the driver took off, he then told me he got the plate, I called the police to make a report when they arrived they took the plate and ran it and came back as no such plate. So I left the dealership and contacted my insurance company, my deductible is $500 and I went to have it fixed. A couple of days letter the General Manager, David Dondanville,called me to ask what had happened and I explained everything and he wrote me out a check for the $500 deductible. The wife fell in love with a 2016 in the showroom. Ended up driving back to Spring Hill, cleaned out the 2014, and drove home a sweet 2016! I knew when Rocky drove an identical 2016 up front, we'd be taking it home. Painless, relaxing, and a pleasure to deal with ALL the folks up there, and especially "Rocky"!. Thankyou!
