Our "2011 Kia Soul +" was in the service dept. for a small item recall notice ... which was promptly taken care of to our satisfaction ... Being that we haven't had this vehicle for a complete for a small item recall notice ... which was promptly taken care of to our satisfaction ... Being that we haven't had this vehicle for a complete 2 years yet ... we were looking around the dealership's showroom while killing time waiting on our vehicle ... and got involved in a conversation with Joe Slater, one of the Sales Consultants ... we very much appreciated both his ease and candor during our lengthy conversation where he was answering any and all questions to the best of his ability concerning our car's value in 2, 3 or 4 years from purchase ... specifically to help us make the decision on our own ... without feeling any pressure what so ever ... as to when is the best time to trade it in, etc. ... All vehicle owners have a pretty good idea of just how much your "new" vehicle depreciates the second you drive it off the dealer's lot ... but, looking to make the best economic decision as to when is the best time to trade it in order to get as much as money as possible for your trade and what possible discounts we would be eligible to receive (loyalty, armed forces, etc.) is something you have to educate yourself on ... If there was a gentleman I would recommend sitting down with and knowing that he will talk straight with you ... it's Joe Slater ... we will definitely be calling him when the time is right for us to consider trading our present vehicle in for a new and upgraded model ... who would have ever guessed someone would give us so much assistance without making a sale ... but, it definitely made a very big and positive impression on us !!! I'd drive a hundred miles to do business with this enthusiastic, dedicted team. I walked through the doors not knowing what I was looking for: new? used? more used? I did know that I liked the Kia Soul AND what I could afford. Everyone I encountered helped me along--provided straight-forward, helpful information and answers to every question I asked in a patient, pleasant and polite manner. Every one of them demonstated a genuine joy just being there as well as with what they were doing: the owners, Steve and Cindy Hiteman, Jane Hughes, Paul A., Joe Slater, Tony Meador, Mike Reyes, the sales and service reps whose names I didn't get, working with other customers. After the test drives, Salesman Joe Slater presented me with clear, simple-to-understand figures for every lease and purchase option I requested. The figures he presented were incredibly generous. That was a Monday. Tuesday I decided to purchase a new 2013 Red Kia Soul-- may I add--the very first NEW vehicle I have ever owned! I'm used to being the LAST owner. Wednesday Joe gave me a pen and with ease, had me sign my way through the sales agreement. With the same pen, I completed the financial agreement with Finance and Insurance Rep, Mike Reyes, again clearly and simply, no hidden anything. I walked out the door to my new red Soul! Wow! Joe gave me a verbal and visual demonstration of every switch, dial and button between the dashboard and trunk area. I drove out of the lot as much at home with my new car as I'd been with my 11 year old trade-in. I am grateful to every one at Citrus Kia for making a daunting decision simple, enjoyable and rewarding. Happy Trails to them all. More

This is my third KIA purchase since 2008. I have always used John as My sales person. I do not like a "high pressure" salesmen. Purchasing a new vehicle is very stressful. I recently purchased a vehicle from Citrus KIA. Joe Slater, the sales consultant, was available to assist me from the onset of my shopping experience. I contacted him by email and he immediately contac Slater, the sales consultant, was available to assist me from the onset of my shopping experience. I contacted him by email and he immediately contacted me back providing me with information about a vehicle. He provided me with specific information about the trade-in price for my vehicle. He was knowledgeable about all the vehicles I inquired about. He showed me several vehicles and he responded without hesitation to my request for a car fax. He also accompanied me during the test drive and was able to answer my questions about taxes and pricing. During the negotiating process, he was willing to entertain a reasonable offer. He worked with me to get a price that I was happy with; this was done without pressure or over inflation of the quality or value of the vehicle. Although I did not come fully prepared because to make a purchase, his calm demeanor and knowledge of the closing process made it possible for me to drive home that evening with the vehicle. When I returned the next day to complete the closing, he gassed the vehicle up and had it washed and ready to go when I was finished. He offered to set up my smart phone and blue tooth. He also providing me with a cell phone # and encouraged me to contact him with any questions. He has responded to a couple of text messages answering some questions. He also did the leg work in securing a DVD remote control from the former owner, offering to mail it to my home. Overall, It was an excellent buying experience and I was impressed with the professionalism of Joe Slater and the staff. I plan to recommend Citrus KIA to my friends and colleagues. More
My husband, Don had heard excellent comments about Citrus Kia from friends when golfing, so we decided to go to Citrus Kia and check out their cars. We pulled in and Joe Slater approached us. Joe said fine and to let him know if we had any questions and Joe left us. Don and I looked at cars in the lot. We were looking for a car that gave good mileage as well as one whose looks I liked. After narrowing our search we went to find Joe. He came out with us to a few of the cars - showing them to us and explaining features, etc. We liked the Optima and Joe got one for us to take a test drive in. Then we went into the Kia Building and talked with Joe about the options we had. We loved the Optima and ended up with the beautiful one in the showroom!!!! Joe was absolutely wonderful with the complete experience and even took the car to get the windows tinted for me. Don and I have been singing the praises of Citrus Kia and Joe Slater and the other folks at Citrus Kia to all our friends!!! Thank you Citrus Kia!!! Thank you Joe Slater!!!! More
Michael Boswell greeted us upon our entry to Citrus KIA. He showed us the car we were interested in and briefed us on the points we would need to know upon our taking the car for a ride. He explained the costs of features included in a purchase price and reviewed the bonuses we were eligible for upon purchase. This clarified what our price would be. He obtained a fair price for us to trade in our Avalon. This allowed us to complete the purchase and work with the Business Manager to arrange for financing that same day. Michael then explained the electronic features related to operating the car. This was done with knowledge, patience and in an encouraging manner. He expressed his willingness to help us in the future as we become familiar with the many electronic features of the car. During the three days of completing this purchase of a new car It was a pleasure working with Michael Boswell . The entire staff at Ciyrus KIA were also friendly and helpful. More

We worked out a fair and reasonable deal and at no time did we feel pressure by any of the sales staff. The sales atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant and at times we even had a laugh or two during the negotiations. We highly recommend Citrus KIA and its sales staff, Tony, Mike and Yvonne. Tony Meador was a big help in arranging finance for us, and when we finally met with Mike Reyes to seal the sales deal, he treated us with respect and made us feel comfortable in his presence. A few days later when I went back to inquire about the GPS system in the KIA, Danny was readily available to assist me, in fact any of the personal I talk with at Citrus KIA was very helpful. I would strongly recommend Citrus KIA to anyone interested in looking for a new or used car, these people are professional and friendly, they make you feel good.... Earl Shott More
