Great experience Went in for an oil and filter change and for them to check on a tight, clunky feel to the steering. We found out that there were several other items that needed attention, including the one and only oil and filter change that had not be done at Jenkins. A couple of months earlier, we had gotten a call and gone to a family funeral in the Midwest (was close to needing an oil change before we got the call). After the funeral, we called a local Midwest Hyundai dealerl to arrange for an oil and filter change. It was a university town and the students were preparing to leave for break and the Hyundai dealership said they were booked solid for two weeks. They recommended Walmart for the oil and filter and that's where we took it. After we got back home, we took our Sonata to Jenkins Hyundai for the clunky steering problem and a new oil and filter change. We were shocked to find out that the Walmart service center had not used a compression ring for the oil pan plug and had stripped the threads causing it to leak oil all over the underside of our car. Our battery was also near the end of its life and that needed to be replaced. We also found out that the left front wheel was out of alignment along with a couple of other needed service items. All of this was explained by the service tech, Tiffany, and later by Service Manager, Tom Schettino. Tiffany gave us a 2018 loaner vehicle to use while ours was being repaired. Also, Mike Sofka, who originally sold us our Hyundai, stopped by to say hello and asked us if we had any questions that he could help us with. We couldn't be happier with the attention we were given, the explanation about what was needed, how long it would take, the use of the loaner vehicle and the price we paid for all the work. More
