He helped to solve the problem by giving me a sheet from an iPhone site describing different capabilities of different USB-C cables. At home I connected a HIGH-SPEED-CHARGING A-to-C to my F150 and Android Auto started working again. I called Anthony and let him know, if only he had said "This vehicle requires a special cable meant for HIGH SPEED CHARGING" I would have understood that immediately and left happy. More
