My family bought our first camper last week, and quickly realized after our first camping trip that we needed something stronger to pull our new vacationing pull behind. I started searching all over Florida, specifically for a pre-owned Diesel 4wd that would fit the bill. After visiting countless dealerships in our area and taking several test spins that ended up very disappointing, I found a vehicle that matched everything we were looking for at Crystal Chevrolet. Unfortunately this was 2 1/2 hours each way to go get the vehicle. At first, over the phone and emails and texts, the salesman was very helpful answering all of my questions, so I asked for an "OUT THE DOOR PRICE". He emailed me back with the OUT THE DOOR price, and I thought this was a fair price for the vehicle. I went ahead filled out my pre application online, and sent in my insurance paperwork, a copy of my drivers license, and even asked to speak to the finance manager about what my interest rate might be with my fairly good credit. Feeling very excited, my family loaded up and we took the 2 1/2 hour drive. When we arrived at the dealership, everyone was nice, and helpful. The salesman went and brought the finance manager out to approve start the financing, and to show me the amount we had agreed upon. Well this is where everything went SOUTH QUICKLY. The price he gave me was almost $4,000 higher than the price we agreed upon. I showed him the email, and he left the room. After "30 minutes" he returned and said "I'm sorry for your drive, and your wasted gas, but we can not sell you the truck for that price". Huh????? Puzzled, I said "this was the OUT THE DOOR price that YOU emailed me, and now you are telling me you can't do that " ??? Very frustrated, but trying to stay calm, I said" I know everyone makes mistakes, but you should HONOR the price you quoted me. He again said he could not do that. Upset, but trying to be understanding, I said "even though this was NOT my mistake, because I have driven 2 1/2 hours with my family, I will split the difference with you, on the price that YOU gave me and the price YOU are now telling me the truck costs". He called his boss and said again, I'm sorry, but I can't do that. That's when I walked out. This is NOT THE WAY YOU DO BUSINESS. If they will do this to me, they will do it to any of you. Don't be their next victim. There are too many dealerships out there who do business honestly.. More

2019 Equinox After we bought our Equinox, we found that the voice recognition was not working. This is when we met Tanner McDade. Tanner was very dedicated, made many calls to On Star, and GM trying to find out why voice recognition was not working. When he thought he had a fix, he'd call us to try it. When it didn't work, he made more calls, Tanner never gave up until it was fixed. During all the calls to On Star, Tanner must of finally talked to someone with knowledge. With Tanner"s help and persistence it was finally working. We drove to Crystal Chevrolet to show and tell Tanner. He worked so hard during the three months the voice recognition didn't work to get it working for us. Tanner knew how important it was for us to have the voice recognition working, he never gave up. We wish there were more people like him. Tanner went way beyond expectation for us. We can't thank him enough for all his time, resources, and knowledge. He represents the company with pride and someone who really cares. I think GM should recognize Tanner in a special way. If your looking for a salesman who will treat you right and make sure you are happy, ask for Tanner McDade. Arnold Martin, in the service department, handles our account for service. He always explains what the problem was and how it was fixed. We have always gotten in and out very quickly. Because we are very happen with the service department, we have transferred our Colorado truck for service over to Chrystal Chevrolet. More
