Ross, at this dealership, made an offer to buy our car based upon Kelley Blue Book and pictures submitted to him. Shaun, Ross’s substitute because Ross (unexpectedly to us) was off for the day, was courteous. The manager offered $3k less than what Ross (who purportedly had authority to make an offer) had offered When Ross was called by phone, the manager said that Ross told him that he had said only that the amount he offered was in the realm of possibility. Not true. Bait and Switch. Avoid these people. Note: we immediately went to another dealership and sold the car for $500 more than Ross offered. More
