I contacted Jeffrey Honda about purchasing a 2023 Honda Pilot EX-L and was prepared to buy quickly if we could reach a mutually acceptable price. Unfortunately, the experience left me questioning the dealership's commitment to customer service and sales professionalism. My salesperson was slow to respond throughout the conversation and showed very little interest in actually working a deal. I made a reasonable inquiry about price flexibility and clearly communicated where I needed to be to move forward. Instead of receiving a straightforward answer or any effort to explore options, I was repeatedly told what other vehicles had sold for and what the asking price was. I fully understand that a dealership may not be able to meet every customer's target price. That's not the issue. The issue is that there was no attempt to earn my business. No counteroffer, no discussion of available flexibility, no effort to involve a manager, and no clear answer to a simple question: "Is the price negotiable?" As a customer ready to purchase, I expected a professional sales process. Instead, I felt like I was doing all the work to keep the conversation moving. If management reviews customer feedback, I would encourage them to look at how internet leads are being handled. The dealership is good. I have been a customer for about 7 years. However, when I called to set up an appointment to bring in my car for an oil change and tire rotation, w I have been a customer for about 7 years. However, when I called to set up an appointment to bring in my car for an oil change and tire rotation, which was one week in advance, Mia the robot made the appointment which never got on the schedule and when I arrived I was told I had no appointment. The gentleman was kind and still took me in and for that I am thankful. Thanks again. More
