Was looking to sell my used Focus so I did an online instant offer through KBB, obviously many dealerships called me. JW being one, a salesman named Shane text me and called. Made arrangements to swing by one day before closing. Had the obviously sight unseen appraisal online but I had accurately represented my car so had no worries, he told me if it indeed was as described they would probably offer me a decent amount more than the KBB offer. Stopped up and he was working a deal, fine not an issue but he never even acknowledged me and thanked me for stopping up as he had asked. He had no one at his desk at the time so no reason he couldn't have. The young salesman I got was great and handled things quickly, not the minutes Shane had promised but I knew I'd be there for at least 30 and I was. They came back with a lower offer than I had gotten online. Another local dealership had already offered me about $1200 more so I knew I wasn't out of line in my numbers. Basically insulting, wasted my time and passed me off without even a hey thanks for brining it up. More
The service advisor was fine . However there are a couple of issues overall. First , it took 4 hours to replace filter , differential fluid and install 4 tires ..At $1600.00 expedi However there are a couple of issues overall. First , it took 4 hours to replace filter , differential fluid and install 4 tires ..At $1600.00 expediently would be appreciated. I could have gone to VIOC and Costco and got both done in 2 1/2 hours at far less pricing. Secondly no mention was mentioned about a 3% charge on CC until 10 minutes you had taken the car . THis left me no option to use a check at all since it was at home . Plus the fact that a large company like Jeff Wyler does not pay the full 3% on all transactions. Having worked in the banking industry , that is a fact . If they pay it on all charges their financial people are not doing their jobs. I was notified of the 3% by text after you had the car for 10 minutes. .This should be communicated before I arrive. I also have been waiting for parts for a recall notice for 8 months now. When I asked about the delay, I was told that any of those parts come in they are put on the used cars instead of taking care of existing customers. I am sure the NTSB never intended for this to happen. More
We didn’t have an appointment and were leaving on vacation and needed some updates done on our car. They were swamped the day we took it in but Dean in the service department helped us out.
