Visited Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet South on May 5, 2012. The dealership was extremely busy but that did not impact the entire process of buying a new car for me. August greeted us with a friendly smile and went out of his way to show me a number of different vehicles in every color and trim level that I was interested in and offer a very relaxed test drive which made the decision to buy the vehicle easy. Once we had negotiated a deal the rest of the financing and delivery process went very quickly. The total time in the dealership was very quick considering that we accomplished the whole process in just a couple of hours. We love our new Equinox and the Jeff Schmitt South team! More
Overall experience was great. George did everything in his power to make the deal and got our monthly price to exactly where we wanted to be. Problems with the Sales Person but once in financing all went GREAT WITH kiki!!!!!, but still had a few bumps in there sHE WAS HAVING PRINTING PROBLEMS. but we went home in our new vehicle but on plates tha went GREAT WITH kiki!!!!!, but still had a few bumps in there sHE WAS HAVING PRINTING PROBLEMS. but we went home in our new vehicle but on plates that were not registered to that vehicle, and had no sales paperwork to show the police if stopped. Also, The Motor trend rating that the dealership received is ok for vehicles under 66,000 miles but NOWHEREe anD i mean NOWHERE does it state this. the free items you receive is only for vehicles under 66,000 miles,I explained this was veryt misleading and that statement was ignored. Also on the next day I asked to speak with a manager and was not allowed was given different reasons on why. But KIKI was great and answered alot of questions that we feel sales should have been able to answer for us. We ended up purchasing a 2006 Buick Terreza at a great price and great finanacing thats to KIKI. we had asked our sales person Tina for the remote to the vehicle i know 3 times, and she stated it cannot be found, but said call her when she reutned from vacation in 2 weeks and she would find it. Next day we came back about the tags and asked to speak with a Manager we explained our situation to a different salesman and he said he would take care of it I did not get his name, but he got the front plate holder for us and had it mounted KIKI in financing came back in on her day off to complete the sale and explain alot of thigs to us. She got our 30 day tag and the Second Salesman had it installed. We explained to Tina on the first day that there were warning lights comming up about servicing the ABS Sytem, the Stability control and the traction control system. Tina Said That due to the Low Price of the vehicle they Problally would not fix this, and this is why they had the Price maked down 4,000.00 due to this problem. Tina also said that we would have to get our own front Tag Plate holder, stated just put the Front Plate in the Window and it will be ok. This seemed wrong to me. That same day the Second salesman stated he had them order a new key remote and it would be in the next morning. The next morning my wife went to pick up tthe remote and the service department stated they know nothing of ordering a remote. the servie person went straight to a manager and got5 permission to order it, it came ibn todqay and was programmed to the buick. As for the problem with the ABS and other warning messages i was able to resolve this on my own in about 10 minutes that fixed the problem. Seems bad that the service department could not do this or even the sales person could bnot ecven check into this for us. I would recommend this Dealship but with CAUTION!!! about the sales Team and what you are told. Still waiting to speak with a Manager on these issues. More
We had an appointment at 6:45 and was told to ask for a manager. When we arrived a very nice lady (Tina) approached us and when I told her this she said they tell everyone that and she would be more than h manager. We told what we were there for and she found the vehicle and brought it up. It had a dead battery so we were unable to actually drive it but she took us around the parking lot and answered questions we had. She did not want us to take out on the road in case the battery failed. After waiting a lengthy time (they were backed up in finanace) we got into the finance office and spent time with Patrick getting all of the paper work filled out. It was late when we got out of there and we were all tired, but over all it was very good. Received a phone call from Patrick asking me if I could come back down and redo paperwork as there was an issue and was told the payment had not changed. So set a time with Patrick for 5:30 and when I got there he was with someone else. I waited a short time and he came out said it would be about a 1/2 hour, I told him I did not have that much time, feeling since I had an appointment that I really should not be asked to wait. He asked the people he was with to pleae give him some time, he got my folder and took me to another office. He discovered that his watch had stopped and he did not realize that he was almost an hour behind time, cannot fault him for that, things happen. We got the new paperwork done and he informed me that the payment had lowered about $75.00 a month. Well, needless to say that was Wonderful news and well worth the hassel of coming back down (live northwest of Dayton about 30 miles or so). I would say my overall experience with your Miamisburg store was very good. Everyone, even the sales people that were not assisting me were very pleasant. Tina, was especially nice, as was Patrick. I would definitely come back in the future if another vehicle is needed and will recommend this dealership to any of my friends that say they are in the market for another vehicle. The salesman, Johnathan Miller could not have been any better from the time he greeted me through the end of the sale, making sure I knew what all the bells and whistles were for on my new Malibu and how they operated. Sammy Zuppardo, the finance manager was a real sweetheart explaining all the options on financing and getting me a great rate. The sales manager, Martin Ziegler made himself known from the start. He has an excellent personality and makes certain that you are happy. I can not say enough good things about this dealership. They are GREAT and I would highly recommend them to anyone. More

Every person we dealt with there were a wondboerful group of people showing concern, friendliness, as well as being professional. I would recommend both of these dealerships to anyone.
