Wish I could give 0 stars. This place seems to be run on incompetence.... where to begin? My fiance and I were in the process of purchasing a car Friday night, doing this by phone because we live a few hou incompetence.... where to begin? My fiance and I were in the process of purchasing a car Friday night, doing this by phone because we live a few hours away. A few things 1) The $999 "service fee"? Ridiculous. Of course, being a dealership, you expect things like this to get sprung on you once you're in deep with purchasing... But I've just been given the bottom line at a different dealership today, and their fees only total $300. 2) Lack of courtesy communication. After we paid the $2000 down payment, we didn't hear back for TWO HOURS. And that's only because WE called. The dealer(Anthony) semi-apologized that someone FORGOT about us. Great. So once they had our money, they felt fine just casting us aside to wait an exorbitant amount of time since we weren't in person (for the record, we had an appointment Saturday and needed the car, which is why we were happy to close Fri eve). 3) Communication...still. Because we live outside of town, we had discussed delivery of the vehicle. Our dealer told us that it can be put on a trailer to deliver to not add mileage and wear. $400 fee, fine. Later, after lots of waiting, he comes back and says that it's going to be driven instead (~3-4 hrs), and they refused to budge on the price. Whatever, we needed the car, so fine. 4) Finally, after hours of holding, waiting, and speaking with 3 different people, it seemed like we were closing. I had spoken to my insurer to have my fiance and his car added to it; we had everything in order. They tell us the car will be driven/delivered on Monday (well, he said "should be Monday" but we dug in to ask for an actual committed time). Ok, so we reschedule our appointment that we needed the car for from Saturday afternoon to Tuesday. We don't hear anything Monday morning, call to ask, get nothing, wait until later in the morning, only to be told that the car is in service... And it's supposed to be delivered today 4 hrs away? Sus. The icing on this debacle was that Monday afternoon, the dealer calls back that the car has problems and now they're not going to sell it. ?!?!. They had it on the lot, they gladly took our money (tried to pressure us that someone was waiting for it if we didn't get it)...we had to jump through hoops and rearrange out other appointment twice for these incompetent NON-professionals. And, we came out of this still with no car, despite having the money for the down payment, the loan, and the insurance all in order. These guys will probably sell you a lemon. We got lucky that this particular lemon didn't give them confidence that it could make a 4 hr drive; otherwise, I'm sure they would have gladly sold it anyway. Everything about the way they conducted business with us screams scammy. Just go somewhere else and don't waste your time with them. More
Everyone was extremely pleasant. I was interested in an advertised used Mazda and made a test drive appointment. I got confusing instructions on the location and ended up at the wrong place. Once I arriv advertised used Mazda and made a test drive appointment. I got confusing instructions on the location and ended up at the wrong place. Once I arrived at the correct location, I was greeted by Oscar (salesman). He was new to Jeff Haas, having recently come from Joe Myers Ford. Nice enough, and I really liked the car. Then he informed me that the actual price of the car was $1,000 above the advertised price. This was for service prep and certification costs. We then began the age old "I'll check with the manager" schtick. Nope, I did not buy the car, will not be back. More
