Couldn't get short repair done in the same day When I made the appt, I said I would need my car back the same day. I was told I needed a morning appt for that, and the only time slot available was When I made the appt, I said I would need my car back the same day. I was told I needed a morning appt for that, and the only time slot available was 7:30am. So I dropped it off at 7:30am. At 2:30pm, I got a call saying they got it into the shop late and wouldn't have time to finish it the same day, but I was welcome to leave it overnight and rent a car from them for $40/day. I said no the rental car and wanted mine back because I didn't want to pay for the rental. I got the car back and scheduled a return appt (2 days later when it was convenient for me). They did the repair while I waited and it only took about 2.5hrs. What is the point of an early morning appt if they're not looking at it until the afternoon anyway?? And then I'm supposed to pay extra for a rental car because they didn't start looking at it for several hours? I could understand if something gets overlooked or a scheduling snafu, but this is not the first time this has happened to me here. But the last time it happened, they were also fixing a recall and wrote off the rental as part of the recall. Kinda frustrating that this keeps happening.... The communication from Gary about the repair needed was good. I'm just miffed that I had to bring it back a 2nd day or pay more money just to get my car fixed. More

Warranty service on leaking coolant I purchased a lifetime warranty for a 2009 caravan purchased new from Roseville dodge. I called and they said yes it will be covered. I received no call . I called at 1pm and they said service will return call. no call back. I called again at 4:30pm and service tech went home. next day no call. I called at 2pm and they said no warranty work since it is out of date. not to mention they did not work on factory recalls!! how do you let a car leave without fixing the factory recalls?? More
