Service Excellence! I have been going to New Prague Ford for all my service needs on both my F-350 diesel and my wife's Dodge Grand Caravan for years and have ALWAYS been I have been going to New Prague Ford for all my service needs on both my F-350 diesel and my wife's Dodge Grand Caravan for years and have ALWAYS been very satisfied with the customer service and pricing. We usually deal with Todd Schaecher and he always does his best to find us the lowest price for the work performed! Todd has put forth ALOT of extra effort to deal with extended warranty companies/issues that other places had made me do on my own in the past. We have also dealt with Morgan Skidmore & Brett Terpening and they are also very courteous and professional. We are very happy with the quality staff & service we receive at New Prague Ford and have no intensions of taking our vehicles anywhere else! For fast & friendly service at a good price I HIGHLY recommend New Prague Ford! More
I had purchased my VW Jetta from New Prague Auto Group this past summer, and when they said they would always take care of me they really did mean it. My headlights, both of them, went out in my car and this past summer, and when they said they would always take care of me they really did mean it. My headlights, both of them, went out in my car and unfortunately Volkswagen doesn't really give you the help you need as to why an issue like this may have occurred. So, I called NPAG and Tod Schaecher, Service Manager assisted me in trouble shooting this problem. What I appreciated most was that he wasn't out to scam me over, and ladies, I don't know about you, but I know that it can be intimidating to have your car serviced. Most of us end up feeling like we get dumbed down or taken advantage of, and I say with all sincerity that is not the case with NPAG. Tod listened to my issue and was genuinely interested in helping me come to a resolution. I brought my car in and from beginning to end Tod and Brett made me feel at ease. My headlights are working perfectly, and this is where I will surely bring my car to be serviced from now on out. I am grateful to know that customer service is something that is still valued by this business. My entire experience from when I bought my car in summer to now has been pretty flawless :-). They had my car for three weeks for a simple repair. They told me their technicians did not know how to bleed the brakes. They scratched my car all up. Would not give me a loaner car until I contacted the owner even though they had my car for 1 week going onto week 2 & 3. Not very knowledgable never once apologized just made excuses. All my visits I was never greeted by anyone. This dealership is full of lies and greed. More
I am not one to formally communicate appreciation but in this case I must. Two days ago My sister-in-law and I were trying to get back to Iowa from Minot North Dakota. The trip had been pleasant but at ou this case I must. Two days ago My sister-in-law and I were trying to get back to Iowa from Minot North Dakota. The trip had been pleasant but at our age over 2,000 miles in 4 days is a bit gruelling. We had dropped south on 15 out of St. Cloud, then taking 19 to I-35 due to the bad storm damage in the cities. Just as we hit New Prague the battery light came on and I began looking for a mechanic shop of any kind to look at the car, thinking it was just a need to clean the posts and tighten the cables. As you know better than I, none were to be seen. Just as I was nearly out of town and really wondering what to do, chance driving on or turn around and keep looking, your dealership arose out of what seemed like nowhere! (Good Angels working overtime)? I soon discovered the good angels were your outstanding staff members!!! Brett Terpening got us right in, checked everything, was completely straight froward and honest about our need for a new alternator, battery and cables. Not a surprise as Ole Lucy is a 2000. He even spoke to my husband in Iowa so I did not have to try and pass along information that I understood in my head but would possibly have confused in conversation. He then arranged for a ride back to town so we could have lunch. Matt Schemmel was extremely pleasant as he attempted to find a good place to eat. He suggested a couple of places then we put it in his hands and he took us where he and his own family like to go. He even made sure we knew about the frozen Yogurt place, just down the strip mall. A totally delightful lunch experience. I don't know who my mechanic was but a BIG SHOUT OUT to him or her as well. We had no more than finished lunch and Brett called to say we were ready to go! I believe out cashier was Sarah Salaba (if that's not right -my apologies). Sarah was incredibly patient while I dealt with the Credit Card company who would not clear my payment as the exp date was two weeks previous. All I got from them was "Yes you have plenty of available credit, I just can't access it without the new card. We could over night a new one." What a jerk!!!!! That card is now paid off and cut up! Had to have my daughter go to my house and dig out the new card and read me the #s to get it to go through. Through all of this Sarah was pleasant and supportive. Just wanted you to know what a crack team you have going up there. They turned what could have and I believe WOULD have been a horrible road trip experience into a minor hold up. If only you weren't 250 miles away you would be MY FORD DEALER!!!!! My eternal thanks & good wishes to ALL. It is no wonder you are #1 in Minnesota. You sure are #1 with me and Sis More
The service department was able to get me scheduled in first thing in the morning when I called in the evening prior. Thanks Brett for taking care of my Vette so quickly and efficiently! It's nice to have it back on the road again knowing I can now STOP!!!!!! I purchased a new Ford Explorer in January of 2011. Everyone very helpful and each time returning to dealership for oil change - it is fast, courteous atomosphere. I worked with Krag Lorensen and Tim Fleury in order to Buy out The Lease on My Orange Saturn Vue. After Much searching Both Men were able to work out an acceptable deal. I have to say, with my horrendeous Past Credit Rating, It was a challenge. but they rose up to it and I left the Sales lot a happy Customer. I just moved to the area and had no idea where to take my 2007 Yukon so I just called the closest dealership per Google, which was New Prague Chevrolet. I talked with Brett (the best service advisor ever) and made an appointment. He answered every question, went above and beyond really, and was so nice. In my experience with dealerships the mechanics will be awesome and the people answering the phones will suck, or vice versa, but never the total package. Everyone was awesome at New Prague Chevrolet. Parts were in stock, the car was fixed within hours of them opening and they called at 10:56 AM to tell me it was ready to go. First dealership to ever call me before 3:30 PM. I am super excited I found such an awesome dealership and Brett - the best service advisor. Ever. I will definitely be back with my yukon and my boyfriend's truck. More

They repaired it for just over $400.00 Ken was very good at followup calls and they took care of it right away.
