excellent service during COVID-19 lockdown Peter Merrill was our Sales Consultant during our search for a new Honda HR-V. We were shopping during the COVID-19 lockdown, but Peter made things e Peter Merrill was our Sales Consultant during our search for a new Honda HR-V. We were shopping during the COVID-19 lockdown, but Peter made things easy and safe for us. He arranged for us to do a test drive in an HR-V that had been sanitized. When we were ready to make a decision, Peter delivered all the paperwork to our home, and allow us to review it at our convenience. When we finalized the sale with him, Peter delivered our new HR-V to our home, all completely sanitized. He also drove off our trade-in vehicle, so that saved us a trip to the dealership. Peter was very careful to maintain social distancing and took all appropriate steps to ensure our health and safety. Disappointed in the dealer and the car. I drove 180 miles to pick up my new car. I was told I had to be there by 10:30 AM preferably around 9:30 AM. I left home at 6:00 am. The dealer told me it had a few more miles on since Wednesday I told him I wanted it. I now had 150 miles, Then they asked if I wanted too see the car, I was in the shop. I inspected it and found bird crap stained into the paint and full of micro scratches. I was told this was caused by the car wash. Also found a small stain in the passenger seat. They said it would be ready in 2 hours. So I drive around for about an hour an decided to come back and tell them they can keep there car. I did not want to spend 35K on car that had so many issues. I expected a car sitting in the receiving area looking like a new car. Their explanation was they had sold a lot of cars and did not have time to detail it. My response was "You can keep your car" and left. Too bad because in the pictures it looked like a super car. If this dealership reads this. I have two messages. Get the car ready for the customer on time and get a new car wash! It is damaging your cars! More
