Exceptional! So far, my experience with Charlotte County Ford has been nothing but exceptional. I went looking to price SUVs in my budget and found one on their lo So far, my experience with Charlotte County Ford has been nothing but exceptional. I went looking to price SUVs in my budget and found one on their lot I really liked on a Saturday afternoon. I wanted my mechanic to give it a look, and they patiently waited until Monday for that to happen, without selling the vehicle out from under me. I worked with a man named Arthur. He was more than patient with me. My mechanic said it was good, so I went in after work on Monday to fill out the financing paperwork and they put a sold sign on it and found me the right financing on Tuesday. Then they patiently waited until Wednesday for me to be able to sign the papers and drive it home. All this without selling it to someone else! A week of appointments and back and forth. But they were patient and worked with me on my schedule! The very next morning, I got a tire pressure light indicator and found out that the windshield wipers were toady. They fixed the tire pressure and replaced the windshield wipers with no cost to me. It was a fast in and out that took a half hour after work. Throughout this whole process, Arthur has been great! So was Paul! When my first choice lender denied me financing, Paul didn’t give up. He kept searching, and didn’t just accept the first approval that came along. He worked to find me the best possible APR he could get me and keep my monthly payments as low as possible! They worked with me on my schedule and didn’t try to rush me or talk me into something that I didn’t like or want. Arthur let me look and find what I liked before educating me on my choice and when he did ask me about other models by comparison, he accepted my answers without being forceful or trying to convince me I was wrong. This is the first vehicle I have ever signed my name too, and Arthur and Paul made this a great first experience in buying a car! More

I was cautioned that sevice to repair the rear seat shoulder restraint would more than likely take two hours. I sort of gave the service writer a hard time about the repair time. Well, the repair was completed in one hour. I was extremely grateful and profusely thank the gal I given a hard time. More

Despite a large volume of customers that day ,our car was serviced and returned within an hours time. Finally the Service writer took time to explain some of the auto's features that I was unfamiliar with. A true group of professionals assisted me that day. More

Terrible experience - never going back! Our first (and LAST) experience at Don Gasgarth's Charlotte County Ford: My husband made an appointment over a week in advance to have a recall repair Our first (and LAST) experience at Don Gasgarth's Charlotte County Ford: My husband made an appointment over a week in advance to have a recall repaired. He was told by whoever made the appointment that he had an 8:00 appointment and it was first thing. We tried to call the day before to see if they had night drop-off, but no one answered. So we dropped the car off the night before (before they closed) because we live over half hour away and didn't want to have to go that early. By 2 pm the day of the appointment, no call had been received telling us it was ready. We tried to call, but got no answer (trend?). We went anyways, since they were supposed to close at 3. When we got there, our car was still not ready. Laurie told us that is just the way they do business. They make the appointment with an adviser (Which they don't tell you when you make the appointment), and the information goes to a dispatcher, who then gets the cars in “order.” We never actually had a meeting with an adviser, so I am not entirely sure what that is supposed to be, though I'm guessing it is a sales tactic. Laurie told us our repair was scheduled for 3 hours, but Don Gasgarth's Ford kept our car for over six hours. We will NOT being doing business with this dealership ever again, and will be sure to share our dissatisfaction with our friends and family. More
