BUYER BEWARE! My 78 year old mother was taken to this dealership by a non-relative to cosign a loan. She has no idea today what this entails. She has no clue that the vehicle she cosigned for costs approximately $30,000.00. Yesterday, when my sisters and I asked her about this she answered she does not know how much the vehicle cost, she does not have any loan papers and she does not think (or understand) that she can be held responsible for payment on the vehicle. My mother can not remember if anyone at the dealership asked her if she understood she would be responsible for the payment if it wasn't made. Sad to say, that this dealership appears to only be concerned about making money. Perhaps, when some young female brings in an elderly person (who she is not related to) into the dealership to cosign a loan, they should ask a few more questions. FYI People with dementia can appear just fine in the first 15 minutes of meeting someone new. We will be reporting this to the BBB and to the Illinois Elderly Abuse system. More

Great small town dealership My wife found her dream car on line at Jansen. We went and looked at the car. They had just got the car the day before from the auction. Every one from sales to the finance guy was great and very helpful. The finance guy was finishing up a deal and we waited in the lobby. The owner of the dealership came over and had a 15 min conversation about the area and the history of the dealership. He never once said he was the owner and was very genuine. When we went back to pick up the car everyone knew our names and was so friendly. The owner even remembered us and which car we where getting. So if you are looking for a small town feel with a great staff it's worth the drive. You will never feel that welcomed at a big dealership just after your money. More

We dealt with Mike Howard and it was a very good experience. I happened to bump into the owner Mike Jansen and talked with him for awhile before realizing he was the owner. They were willing to negotiate and we came to an agreement very quickly. Mike H. gave us some lunch recommendations while Craig Kuhl finished the paperwork. Overall a very fast and painless experience. Great bunch of guys over there! More
