I would not recommend the dealer nor the vehicle. It turns out the vehicle is way too over engineered. This keeps the sorento on the verge of a catastrophic failure. The people in the service center and the work they performed were excellent. The service took exactly the amount of time estimated and all dealings with them were very friendly and informative. I would have given the experience a perfect 5 rating but the billing/payment process was cold and rather unfriendly...almost as if the person did not care at all. I don't expect to be treated like royalty but at least a simple "thank you, have a nice day" and a smile would have been nice. More

They lured us in by saying they would give us top dollar for our trade-in, and we were to see Dave Martin and had an appointment with Nick, a salesperson we had talked with before, and felt comfortable with for our trade-in, and we were to see Dave Martin and had an appointment with Nick, a salesperson we had talked with before, and felt comfortable with. We never saw Dave Martin, switched salesperson to Jesse Flores, with some help from Nick later. Jesse had to repeatedly go "talk" with the manager, probably 8 to 10 times during our visit. The top-dollar trade-in price was insulting to us, so we took that off the table. Jessie kept having us sign sharpie-written pieces of copy paper with "some" number that he would take back to manager. He also promised discounts of up to $3,000, which later dropped significantly to maybe $1,500. We never got the "out the door price". The interest rate was never really divulged until we brought up the rate we could get from our credit union. We finally got to finance guy Nicolas after a long wait. That's when we found out cost of the protection packages, labeled as accessories. In summary of the vehicle purchase, we were very dismayed with the entire process. In light of all the negatives, we're very surprised that we even bought the vehicle. PS; tires were very over-inflated to 44 or 45 lbs. More
I purchased my vehicle new in 2013 from kia. This vehicle happened to be one with the engine issue. The engine did fail in December of 2024. Kia approved the work and set me up in a rental car from enterprise. All good so far. The service writer told me that it could take 2 to 3 weeks. He calls me 10 days later saying that my car has been done for 4 days and I will owe for 4 days of rental. He never told me the car was done when it was done. He rather told me that my car needed tires and they could do that when the car was in. I decided to get tires elsewhere and he proceeds to fill me with the line of xx that he did. When I called him out on it he was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I had to push before he finally came back and stated that kia will cover the cost. Unneeded stress to say the least. Excellent service, friendly employees, fast and efficient service. Found me a loaner while my car was being worked on when they technically didn't have any available.
