My husband and I highly recommend James Wood GMC. We have purchased 3 cars from Sewell GMC in Dallas over the last 16 years, but we have switched. We had 14 and 16 year old GMC's and kept waiting for the market to settle to replace them. As of April of this year, we finally could not wait any longer. I first spoke with Sewell, then other dealerships in DFW, Texas and across the country (as we were driving to visit his mother anyway). Sewell immediately boasted about their integrity compared to other dealerships but over the next two months their statements were inconsistent at best (I am giving them the benefit of the doubt) and their actions were slow (two weeks to respond) or initiated only when I badgered them. Derek at James Wood GMC was the only salesman who consistently answered our questions honestly, explained variables impacting the DFW market that other dealers would not discuss, told us honestly what he could and could not do, periodically checked in a updated us, accurately shaped our expectations and never attempted to take advantage of us. He delivered a Yukon 2022 at earlier than expected at exactly the price he told us in the first conversation and spent more than an hour with us setting up the wireless features, patiently explaining and demonstrating them to us (as none of our previous cars have had wireless features). If you want honesty and integrity, don't listen to the advertising in Dallas. Go to James Wood in Decatur or Denton. More

I was apprehensive about having a dealership have to bring something in that they normally didn't have in stock as I didn't want any added crazy fees because they knew for sure that I wanted it. With that, they did get one in and their price was very competitive regardless of having to bring it in. I definitely didn't feel like this dealership was about "What can we get out of you" first and they were quick and straight-forward from start to finish. More
