I purchased a 2020 Kia optima a month ago from Jake Sweeney Kia in Burlington. The salesman that sold me the car was Phil Anneken , he was a smooth talking salesman who gave me everything I wanted with Sweeney Kia in Burlington. The salesman that sold me the car was Phil Anneken , he was a smooth talking salesman who gave me everything I wanted with the car or so I thought, only the payments were too high and interest rate was too high he told me that I could refinance in 6 months which I found out later was not true . Phil harassed me for weeks asking me for pay check stubs when I had already given him them March. Due to the covid I have been off work and went back a week after purchasing the car which I put 6,000 cash down on . On Monday June 15th I came out for my break at work to find my brand new car wasn't there, I called the Boone county police to report it stolen, they called the dealership because my car had my purse , my phone and other personal belongings. The police talked to Phil they asked if they had the car , he stumbled on his words and said let me check. After a little time he lied to the officer say they had repeat the car for non-payment. I was put on a weekly payment plan and the first payment had already come out. After feeling like my car was stolen I had to get a ride over to Kia. I asked for the sales manager and Andrew Usleaelman came out and had no idea what was going on and said he would get me a refund of the 6,000 I had put down and sent me to Tammy Moore . She gave me a sheet saying they were refunding 5,350 and they were taking out repo fees . I then asked if I had made my payment why was it repoed ? She got very loud and abrupt stating that it was not repoed. Would not give me a detailed list of what I was being charged for and I refuse to sign the document. Later on I called up there and they said Phil had kept the spare key because pay stubs were not produced. I will never buy a car from any Sweeney or a Kia again. This has really been an embarrassing and humiliating experience for me at work. I really hope people reading this realize there are people out there that will take care of you when buying a car. More

We had been searching for a Kia Telluride and hadn't been having much luck finding what we wanted. Brent was AMAZING to work with! My husband and I stopped by around 2:00pm to look into a couple of options for our 16 year old daughter.  We spoke with Brent Kennedy, and he was very informative and helpful. He was more than willing to help us out, but we didn't want to make the decision without our daughter's input. After all, the vehicle is for her. We initially left without making a deal,  but told him we might return by the end of the week. We originally planned on visiting other dealerships in the area as our daughter thought she really wanted a new Honda Civic. As her parents, we were more focused on comparing safety features of various vehicles,  their options,  and their price points. After learning about the safety features of the Kia,  the great warranty they offer,  and the better options Kia offered over the comparable Civic, we decided to head home to do some more research online and talk it over with our daughter. After showing her what we found online,  she wanted to see the Kia options in person, so we headed back down to Jake Sweeney-Kia at 6pm to show her. On this return visit we had the privilege of meeting Mr. Sweeney himself.  He showed our daughter the vehicles we were interested in. He was extremely personable and our daughter thought he was spot-on with pointing out features she was interested in. Brent Kennedy had already left for the day,  but someone called him and he returned to the dealership to help us again. He showed our daughter the same courtesy he showed us earlier in the day. In the end, he brought out the exact car she wanted and the Honda Civic was no longer her preference. She opted for the 2020 Kia Optima S over any other car choices. My daughter and I left the dealership to allow my husband to finalize the deal. This was a perfect experience from start to finish. We were there under 2 hours in total and most of that time was my daughter deciding which car she wanted most. Every person that we encountered at this dealership were great! It was the easiest and most enjoyable car buying experience. We highly recommend the Jake Sweeny-Kia Dealership family to anyone interested in getting a great deal with exceptional service and working with awesome people.
