I was in the market for a BMW of a specific year, model, color, and option package and Rosenthal Jaguar Range Rover had the car I wanted. Up front, I do not give high ratings unless they are earned. Joseph - the Pre-owned manager, and salesman Michael Paluh provided a quality, low stress car buying experience. For me the definition of a successful car buying experience IS low stress, respect for both parties, agreeing on the deal, and then following through on the delivery - to include follow up after delivery. For me the experience started when I found the car on the Internet - Rosenthal's description was thorough, accurate, and had clear pictures. I live 70 miles away and called first to insure the car was available. I spoke with Joe and I described my style and expectations - Joe assured me the car was available, would be ready on arrival, understood my expectations and let me know Michael Paluh would be showing the car. Two hours of beltway traffic later, I arrived and was greeted warmly by Joe and Michael, with the car washed and ready to go. Michael, (who knew the car very well, even though it was not one of their brands) and I drove the car, looked it over in their heated shop, and then the three of us sat down and agreed on a price. 45 minutes to handshake on a very fair deal. Pleasant, no games, clean environment. The paperwork was handled efficiently and with the same level of quality by Tyler. At my request the car was delivered 2 days later. I was picked up by Michael at the local Metro Station and the car was ready as advertised and had been finely detailed. I was out the door in less than an hour. Finally, since I live in Maryland, and the car was delivered in Virginia, I had to arrange for the Maryland Inspection and Michael and Joe supported me through that process insuring all went well. Overall, one of the best car buying experiences I have had. More
Horrific buying experience at Rosenthal Jaguar Land Rover in Vienna. I came in to buy a 2014 Range Rover that was already secured and ready to go. They had everything (insurance, driver license, credit check, cashier check, etc.) but yet they still wanted to further verify my residency, utility bill etc. I have never been humiliated and discriminated by a car dealership in my life. They treated me like a criminal and like someone who cannot afford a vehicle. I refused to be even more humiliated and told them that I will do business elsewhere. They refused to give me back all original documents that had my personal information. That is ILLEGAL! No business transaction was completed. They have no right to keep my information/documents. The GM, Roger Wildermuth, advised he is the owner and that I can complain all I want to him and that there was no one was above him. Well I called over to Geneva Enterprise (Corporate of Rosenthal) and they were of no help either. I will take this matter to the next level....the public! More

Friendly sales, but utterly incompetent service team. I had a 2007 Jaguar XKR convertible with 6 months of Select Edition Warranty remaining. During those 6 months, I brought the car into the dealership o had a 2007 Jaguar XKR convertible with 6 months of Select Edition Warranty remaining. During those 6 months, I brought the car into the dealership on three separate occasions, each time complaining about a clicking/popping sound coming from the drivetrain. "No, no! It's just clicking from the brakes. It's normal!" Two months ago the car is out of warranty. So I finally take it to an independent mechanic to diagnose. Turns out it was a bad rear axle, which would have been COVERED under the warranty. Instead I pay somebody else $1200 to do the repair. That repair was done today. Guess what? It's fixed! I should disclose that there were one or two minor issues that were extremely obvious that were successfully repaired by this dealership under warranty (turn signal stalk, and engine oil filler neck). Also, the service advisor Hannane Amanpour was very friendly and professional. I don't know if there is a better dealership in the area for service, because they might all just be as bad as this one. Steer clear. More

He takes all the stress out of new car buying and explains everything you need to know. He also continuously follows up to make sure things are going well. When I came to test drive my XJL, I didn't feel the pressure of a dealer wanting to sell a car. My second test drive was even more enjoyable. I live in Betehsda, Maryland. There are four jaguar dealers around, but I chose Rosenthal because they made an impression, the first visit. Hands down, the staff are very professional, and will make your visit very smooth. I just got my XJL, and did my first service after-market installation. The service staff made every thing easy. I will without doubt come back when it is time to get my next Jaguar. More

The seating is comfortable and the provided refreshments excellent. There is a television on the wall which always seems to be tuned to MSNBC, but otherwise makes the time go by quickly. The complementary WiFi is slow, however, it is free. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is welcoming overall. My vehicle is always clean and washed when I leave. There are no signs that work was done, except for the movement of the drivers seat and the rear view mirror. I will only service my Jaguar at this location. More

They tried to touch it up - it looked worse than it did to begin with. The Used car manager graciously offered to do what should have been done to begin with - painting the door. Second was the Land Rover FOB was missing (the second of the two). The salesman said it would arrive in a few days. Big LIE...it had to come to us from England. Another salesman told me a FOB always takes a few weeks. Guess our salesguy wanted to get out for the night and said anything. Finally, we have yet to receive titles. At this point we brought in the General Manager who was embarassed, etc. He promised that titles would be delivered by today. Only ONE was delivered. The second wasn't able to be delivered as the bank still owns the car. We paid CASH for the two cars OVER a month ago. That means that Rosenthal has had our money, but never paid off the loan. Is this a way to run a business? There are plenty of places to buy a car...choose another one. More
