Jerome was very helpful, honest, able to answer pretty detailed questions. Tyler was also very helpful in organizing financing quickly. I've been in the market to buy a Jaguar for the last year. I would visit the Rosenthal Jaguar-Land Rover dealership almost once a month trying to decide between a Jaguar XF or XJ, BMW 5 Series and an Au year. I would visit the Rosenthal Jaguar-Land Rover dealership almost once a month trying to decide between a Jaguar XF or XJ, BMW 5 Series and an Audi A7. Every time I would come out to Rosenthal I would always see Gavin Kassiri greeting me with a warm welcome. Well, I was finally ready to make a purchase on a vehicle. I chose to go with the 2013 Jaguar XF. Gavin made sure I got all the options that I was looking for in the vehicle. All I had to decide was the exterior/ intrior color I wanted. After finding the right vehicle for me, we conducted paper work and I was given an offer I could not refuse to turn down. I than became the proud owner of a beautiful luxury sports sedan. Let me tell you how DISAPPOINTED I am with the Land Rover "customer service" ... I have a very expensive taste for cars and every year or two I am buying a new car. When the new 2014 Range Rover Sport came "customer service" ... I have a very expensive taste for cars and every year or two I am buying a new car. When the new 2014 Range Rover Sport came out last year I immediately fell in love and headed to the nearest dealership so I can test drive one. After the test drive I put down a deposit and ordered a custom built top of the line Autobiography model on November 29th 2013. I was even willing to pay FULL MSRP for this car which I have never done in the past for any of my cars, I always used to pay 10k-20k below MSRP, but I said what the heck I really like this car. I sat at the General Manager's office and together we configured the car that would suit my taste. After we were done he printed and signed the configuration and gave me the "build date" which was set for 1st week in February 2014. I called my sales person mid February to check on the status of my order and he assured me that everything is in good shape, they started building my car and I should have it by the end of March. Yesterday I called the GM hoping I can get a more accurate delivery date of my car since I just sold my MB GL550 and was eager to get my new RR Sport asap. This is when my nightmare started. He could not locate my order by my last name so I found the order form he signed in November and gave him the order number. Than he finally found it and said that the car should be at the dealership around March 18th and started to reading my car details. "Ok, it is a white car..." and I stopped him immediately. What are you talking about , I ordered a Corris Gray with Black roof not a white car. Than he kept going on, "I see that this order was changed on December 27th"...I said by who, because I never made any modification to my original order and never called your dealership only until mid February. He could not find out who made the change or what really happened.... They completely changed the car I ordered: - I ordered corris gray with black roof and they built a white car - I ordered a 7 passenger, they changed it to 5 passenger - I did not order the rear seat entertainment, they added this to the car they built and i could go on and on.... RIDICULOUS The GM than told me that he is going to find out what happened and call me back in a few minutes. I waited for 3 hours but no phone call so I called the dealership only to learn that the GM was already gone for the day. Wow! This is what I call "customer service" . Obviously they don't give a xxxx about their customers... This morning I got a phone call from my sales person Gavin who is a nice guy by the way and he was apologizing about this mess. He told me that he spoke with the GM and that he was told that "somehow" he ordered a wrong configuration and that it was his (the GM) mistake. What the heck????? He put my order to his computer while I was sitting next to him and than he printed out the configuration and signed it. I do not understand how could he ordered a totally different configuration .....It just does not make sense to me at all. I ordered 100K car not a bicycle for God sake ! "Mistakes" like this should NEVER happen at a car dealership. Than my sales guy was telling me that they rush ordered another car for me and hopefully I can get it in May. What???? Are you kidding me???? I was already waiting 3+ months for my car and now you want me to wait another 3??? NO WAY! I told him, that the only way I am going to wait another 3 month is if they give me a loaner 2014 RR Sport to drive until the car I ordered arrives. He said they can't do that but they would reimburse me for up to $1000 for a rental car if I bring in the receipt. xxx? They want me to drive a freaking small or midsize rental car for 3 months when I was ordering from them a 100K car and paid full MSRP?????!!!!!!!!! Than he said they would be happy to give me back the $5k deposit I put down for my car and cancel my order. Now this is "real customer service".... This is like if they were telling me "F**k off we don't give a xxxx about you or your problem, we have enough customers we don't mind loosing one" Well thank you Land Rover, I guess I will NEVER EVER buy any of your cars and you just LOST a loyal customer who would have upgraded his car at least every 2 year" I guess I take my business back to Mercedes or Porsche and I will discourage all my friends buying a Land Rover, especially from Rosenthal Land Rover in Vienna,VA . I will let my experience with Rosenthal Land Rover know everybody I know and probably write an article in Washington post where my brother in-law is an editor . What a shame Land Rover! More

Gavin Kassiri was a wonderful salesman. He is very knowledgable and relaxed while not being pushy. He explained the different features of the Range Rover and we picked the one that would best fit my knowledgable and relaxed while not being pushy. He explained the different features of the Range Rover and we picked the one that would best fit my needs. After deciding on which car to purchase the paperwork was done quickly and efficiently and they explained the service requirements to me as well. When picking up the car, he did a walk-through of all of the cars features and spent over an hour teaching me how to use the many different options of the car. Great dealership. Great Salesman. Went in to place an order on a 2014 Range Rover HSE. Instead of waiting 3-6 months, Gavin was able to locate one for me same day with 8 miles! This was a solid car buying experience. I felt the price was fair, but the overall score of a 5 was because the customer service was unbelievably accommodating and friendly. When I showed up at a busy time, instead of making me wait or come back (I probably would not have bought yesterday if I needed to come back later, FWIW) I was given the keys to an LR2 and told to come back in an hour. So the test drive I took was great cause I got to drive some familiar streets for 20 minutes, and pull off to the side to figure out the cockpit layout. But if that didn't sound customer friendly and accommodating enough, I had an offer on my current car at another place and decided to sell it there. Which left me with 2 cars for a period of time. I drove the old car to sell it and Gavin drove my new car, in a snow storm!!!, to pick me up when I was done at the other place! This saved me about 40 bucks on a taxi, and more importantly a lot of time having to wait for a cab out in the burbs in a snow storm at rush hour. When I drove him back to the dealership, he was able to go through all the features on the car so I still got that experience (such as syncing blue tooth with my phone and other test drive types of questions). A shout out should be sent to the rest of the LR sales team that helped Gavin. They were all top notch professionals even during some moderately busy customer times. BTW, you can't beat land rovers for snowy days. Just an awesome ride! :) More
