Screw head found its way into the sidewall of a rear tire. Without an appointment I dropped by Land Rover Schaumburg Carlo understood the situation and was able to locate and install a new tire quic tire. Straight to the point, their finance manager Thomas Palm didn't reflect great customer service. There wasn't an open line of communication with him. I went in on a Saturday afternoon to test drive a car, wh didn't reflect great customer service. There wasn't an open line of communication with him. I went in on a Saturday afternoon to test drive a car, which I did like and did the minor paperwork for. I was financing my loan through my bank, and my bank has it set up in the system that all I had to do was email Thomas the dealer funding request form, which I did that same Saturday night. The dealer funding request form has all the instructions for him to follow on it, and telling him what documents were needed to complete the request. Monday morning I find out that Thomas doesn't start working until 1:30pm in the afternoon. I was extremely surprised that he didn't mention this to me on Saturday. I get a text message from my client advisor stating that Thomas did receive the dealer funding request form, but he is in a meeting. It was after 5pm and I still haven't heard anything from Thomas,no call, no text, no email. The dealership doesn't close until 7pm on a Tuesday. So I called him and left a voice message stating to call me regarding my dealer funding request form. Since Thomas didn't call me back I called him the next day which was Tuesday morning and left him a voice message stating that he can cancel the request for me buying the car. His non actions reflected to me that this sale wasn't needed, and that I wasn't a priority. In the end I did buy a car from a different dealership. I can't get the time back that was wasted at the dealership, but I did realize that you win some and you learn some. And I learned a lot about that dealership. More
