Our process started with David L, who did a phenomenal job explaining why land rover's are so unique and went through our goals to determine what model was best suited for our needs. When we were ready to purchase, we started working with Steve because David was with other customers. David stopped by and told us we were in great hands with Steve. Steve worked with our financial goals with John and Lev, and we were able to come to a mutual agreement on the vehicle. Everyone was extremely professional, polite and overall very pleasant to work with. David was extremely helpful in walking us through what was right for us. Steve went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable with everything and overall did a great job being our advocate during the negotiation process. John made sure the vehicle was exactly to our satisfaction and went above and beyond. And Lev guided us through the financial documents clearly and efficiently. I highly recommend this team! More

Why Land Rover of Hoffman Estates was rated only a three. The sales floor employees were extremely knowledgeable regarding the Range Rover vehicles. Their friendliness, experience, and assistance to a new sa The sales floor employees were extremely knowledgeable regarding the Range Rover vehicles. Their friendliness, experience, and assistance to a new sales person were impressive. That being said, taking advantage of a customer from a financial perspective is disgraceful. Those in the finance department are nothing short of being pirates in search of buried treasure in your bank account. Captain Ed Shlemon, the sales manager, even after knowing we have mutual friends in the business, continued to take advantage of us as customers. Prior to our embarking, we prepared ourselves by being armed with the knowledge of our trade in value as well as the value of the new the Range Rover V-8 Supercharge. Our predetermined value of the Range Rover was based solely on research and the knowledge from others in the car business. Captain Ed insisted we were being offered a fair deal, but sadly, we were not. Walking the plank was an optioned we entertained: getting ready to plunge into the shark invested waters of car dealerships in order to find the Range Rover of our dreams. Leaving the pirate theme behind now, finally Ed returned with a fair deal. Then, it was the finance department along with Ed attempting to recoup their discount by offering us an insulting interest rate 4.1-4.9%! During the finance process, we attempted to use our own bank, Chase who were offering us 2.39%, but instead were being forced into banking with US Bank. We would recommend that future customers arm themselves with knowledge of vehicle value and interest rates prior to entering the doors of Land Rover Hoffman Estates. The dealership profits more when its customers know someone in the business. Yet, the written words above do NOT reflect, our salesman Alex Blaul who was nothing short of exemplary. His willingness to ensure our satisfaction was never ending. For future purchases, Alex Blaul will be our salesman! More

Pleasure to work with My husband had started his search for a new vehicle at Land Rover. His salesperson was Steve Grady who was VERY patient knowing up front that we were My husband had started his search for a new vehicle at Land Rover. His salesperson was Steve Grady who was VERY patient knowing up front that we were just looking. Steve followed up with some additional information on the Land Rover Discovery Sport that we were considering. He was quick to follow up without being bothersome. After my husband looked around a bit, he decided to go back to Land Rover for another round. Again, Steve was incredibly patient knowing we were still just looking. He spent all the time we needed and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle specs. At no point did we feel pressured. Once we had made a decision, it was time for financing. Again, Steve was on top of everything and we hammered out the details. Still, Steve was very patient and followed up on every question that I had (and I had LOTS). Once we closed, he spent all the time we needed to learn about the vehicle and get us up and running in our new car. Steve was wonderful from beginning to end. Buying a car can be a dreadful experience with pressure from a salesperson or last minute surprise changes to what was agreed to. We had nothing but an easy transaction exactly as promised with a true professional. The only downside is I missed the test drive. Apparently the obstacle course is pretty cool. I would highly recommend Steve to my friends and family. More
