Very disappointed with the service and dishonesty. I brought my Range Rover in under warranty but later denied it and said my headlight would be $5000 to repair and a button on door for clicking safe I brought my Range Rover in under warranty but later denied it and said my headlight would be $5000 to repair and a button on door for clicking safety door lock on would be $750 plus $1000 just to check these items so I either pay $8000 or they can’t sell me a new car and trade mine in. I went to Cerritos Land Rover and had everything taken care of of In a timely manner plus they serviced the car and fixed an engine noise all for less than $2000 and most under warranty. I would suggest Chosing a different dealership than Santa Monica for any assistance. More

I have been a Land Rover/Range Rover owner for 18 years. I have used this service center exclusively because I always believed it offered the best care for our automobiles. However, I have learned that corn I have used this service center exclusively because I always believed it offered the best care for our automobiles. However, I have learned that corners have been cut in their annual servicing of our vehicles. Tires don't get rotated, so they don't last as long. When I inquired about this, they said that I hadn't requested tire rotation. Well, tire rotation is a basic part of any annual servicing so for a service center that charges top dollar for their work to tell me that tire rotation is not necessarily done when a car is being serviced was disappointing to say the least. Also, even when I come in for a basic service, I am always hit with a number of other services the shop 'highly recommends' based on their inspection of the vehicle. On average (and I'm talking about multiple services at Jaguar Land Rover Santa Monica), these extra, highly recommended services bring what was supposed to be a basic service cost up to the $4,000 range. I could understand if that happened once or twice, but it's every time. I have never brought a vehicle there for a basic service without a costly recommendation for me to approve so they can add it to the work. This last time was no different. And after paying much more than I was expecting, they didn't even turn off the 'in need of service' sign that lights up on the dash. They always did and in the past, so when I called to point this out, I was told that that would be an additional service I would need to bring the car in for. And by the way, this additional service visit would not be free of charge. So, I'm disappointed and in search of a shop that won't gouge me. What I will say is that the work that is done by this service center is good. It's just pricey and you're going to get costly service recommendations to add to the work being done on your car every visit. More
This was my second time dealing with them in a few weeks. They were near impossible to get anyone on the phone or to get a call back. Communicating with them was beyond frustrating. They told me to come by without an appt and without a specific person to ask for. When I got there I WAITED and was passed around from person to person. Everyone seem frazzled, sweaty and overworked. They didn't understand why I was there and were reluctant to help me. It was beyond frustrating. I would avoid going to them at all costs. More
