Mr. Lane was friendly, helpful and persistent. The deal could have been made a week prior but management wouldn't negotiate till it was the very end of the month. The dealer add on fees are ridiculous and I was ready to buy a new vehicle in Tampa, (which is where I was headed that day), with no dealership fees. I had already been in contact with a salesperson and had negotiated a deal for a 2026, same truck with a few more options. Mr. Lane called as I was waiting on my friend to drive me down so that I wouldn't have to wait for delivery, which was free. Landrover management had finally come down to my offer. I still thought about going to Tampa as it was a 2026 rather than a 2025. Decided to make the deal here rather than in Tampa, mainly due to Mr. Lane's persistence in trying to get the sale. Overall, the purchase went through quickly, my bank took the longest amount of time. While the dealership offered to re-run everything, I did not want to go that route. I purchased a used Mercedes C300 sight unseen. The sales staff was pleasant to deal with through out the buying process. I asked the sales person I was working with to please be my eyes and show me any and all defects. Unfortunately they missed a few and the car arrived with damage on the rear bumper and defects to the rear window that were never disclosed. They claim the car was damaged during transport and offered to fix the bumper but they would not repair the rear window. I appreciate them taking responsibility for the rear bumper but the Rear window delaminating from the convertible top is a more costly repair. I agreed to their offer and tried to move past that. I looked forward to driving the car and appreciate a convertible car in NJs short summers. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to drive the car since I have yet to receive the title which I need in order to register the car. Since I am out of state, I had asked to register the car and only needed a reassigned title. It’s been over a month now and I still have not received the title nor has the repair been done. I purchased this car a month ago that I still cannot drive it. Every time I speak with the manager I get the same message… they are waiting on an answer from their title department. Unfortunately, I’m out of state and it’s clear that I am of no concern. Had I lived nearby and been physically in the showroom I believe I would have received my title and repairs already. More
