good service our experience at land rover minneapolis has been a good one, but i'd expect that when you buy a luxury vehicle. we had some issues with our vehicle our experience at land rover minneapolis has been a good one, but i'd expect that when you buy a luxury vehicle. we had some issues with our vehicle just after we bought it and the dealer worked to rectify them immediately and at no cost to us. they stepped up and took care of the problems without any hassle or extended negotiation. frankly, i was surprised to have any issues at all considering the price of the vehicle, but lr minneapolis dealt with them promptly and in a courteous way. My car was washed, vacuumed, and looked like new. Your dealership, whether one is looking for a car, or coming for some service is actually enjoyable to visit. My wife and I now both drive certified former service owned Land Rovers. More
Eight years of great service I brought me 2008 XJ in for the 60,000 mile service. As usual, Henre' did a great job of setting the schedule and providing a loaner vehicle. When it was fixed the bill was relatively reasonable. This continues to be a great car which I bought new from this dealer. 2002 XJ Sport wont start. Had to jump start from relay. 2002 XJ Sport would not start. Had to jump start from the relay(big fuse in the engine compartment). Explained to Jerome who is an excellent service guy. After one day of diagnosis, Jerome called stating he needs authorization for a second diagnosis which would cost about 600 dollars. Either the mechanic know nothing about what he is doing or Jerome wanted to scam me. I don't know. For sure, if the mechanic could not find the issue with the first diagnosis, why would he find the issue with the second? And what if he could not find the issue with the second diagnosis, will Jerome charge me for a third diagnosis. Man...I thought Jaguar hires only the best mechanics, I doubted. Gonna have to find another way to fix the car or it will go to the Salvation Army with only around 100000 miles on it. Once again, the service is excellent but the mechanic is a no no. More
