I had multiple issues with my Land Rover Discovery Sports, and I am glad I took it to Land Rover Hinsdale. I got good service, and was treated with respect & care. They gave me a 2023 Defender as a l Sports, and I am glad I took it to Land Rover Hinsdale. I got good service, and was treated with respect & care. They gave me a 2023 Defender as a loaner to drive while my car was getting fixed. I like the constant updates you get from the text messages, and detailed estimates for you to review and approve. It keeps the servicing transparent. Being a LR, everything was expensive, but I think it was worth it. earlier, I got it serviced at a non Land Rover service station, and repairs were not completed properly, and issues resurfaced within an year. Coolant light was going on so we caller dealer and make an appt. The car was dropped off before Christmas...As of March 13th we still do not have our car back. We had purchased the car from the dealer, b an appt. The car was dropped off before Christmas...As of March 13th we still do not have our car back. We had purchased the car from the dealer, but an extended warranty (which is a joke)...The car was not looked at till sometime early January...Not sure why they had us drop it off 2 weeks before they actaully looked at it. Fast foward, the service techs did a pressure tested it and blew the engine. Now the car is dead and we were told to provide all oil change records, which we did. It actaully was such an insultant to try and place blame on us...Like I would drive a Range Rover Sport with the engine over heating. Give me a break! The extended Warranty company had to come out to inspect and approve repair, which took almost a month. They supposedly shipped a new engine and started to repair the car (it is now 2 months in) They told us they had to drive it 100 miles to ensure all was working properly. Next we get a call the new engine failed so now warranty had to come back out and re-approve another engine. We are now into March, almost 90 days later and as of last week, were told the new engine shipped but now today a week later no tracking information or ETA where the new engine is. Note: when something is shipped out there is a tracking number immediately attacched to the product. It's pretty clear, someone is not doing there job or telling the truth... We get the same story each day, that by the end of day we will get a call with an update. Guess what, no update!!! The dealer service rep tells us the warrant company is dodging there calls and we have talked to the warranty company directly and they tell us they are working on tracking the engine. We have been very understanding and find it horrible service that the dealer manager not once reached out to apology for the months of our car in the shop. Bottom line, my range rover sport was driving fine, besides the coolant light going off and they blew up my car and now can't seem to repair it correctly in a timely fashion. 3 months!!!! Non stop calls, texts and us having to track down the warranty company. We have been paying for the car payments, insurance and now will pay thousands of dollars for terrible servcie and hope that the range rover actually runs again. More
