*Dangerous negligence, zero accountability, and unprofessional treatment at Jaguar Land Rover Carlsbad* Every time I’ve dealt with this dealership—particularly service advisor Martin Edmonds—the unprofessional treatment at Jaguar Land Rover Carlsbad* Every time I’ve dealt with this dealership—particularly service advisor Martin Edmonds—there’s a pattern: Martin always "discovers" urgent, expensive repairs that need immediate attention, with no transparency and no trust. His tone is consistently condescending, and at times, downright dismissive. He also tells me that Land Rover's are "Junk" and that even "he doesn't own one". I brought my vehicle in for a recall service and paid $299 for a diagnostic check when I dropped it off. At that time, I was told by Martin that my diesel exhaust sensor needed to be replaced—nothing was said about my oil level sensor, because it was working properly. No issues were reported in that diagnostic. I paid them $1500 for the 1 malfunctioning sensor during that "RECALL". After the recall service was performed, my oil level sensor failed—a $4,500 repair. There is clear evidence online, and acknowledged by other Land Rover technicians, that this specific recall can result in oil sensor wiring damage if handled carelessly. Yet, Land Rover Carlsbad is now refusing to take any responsibility for the damage they caused. To make matters worse, they returned my car with the entire windshield wiper housing missing. I got on the freeway going 65 mph with my children in the car, and it started to rain. The engine compartment was completely exposed, and I was horrified by what could have happened. Again—no apology, no ownership, no effort to make it right. I have since escalated the matter, When General Manager Anthony Benfatti discovered that the repair of the oil sensor is $4500 due to the DESIGN FLAW and location of the sensor, he responded not with concern or accountability, but with a refusal to do the right thing. He responded with arrogance. His response: “See you in court. I’ll be there with attorneys, experts, and mechanics.” This dealership has shown me exactly who they are: negligent, unaccountable, and unwilling to treat customers with integrity or basic safety standards. If you value your life, your vehicle, or your dignity—do not trust Land Rover Carlsbad. More
Bought a used Jaguar, it needed to have the wheel rims repaired, manager agreed this would be done. When we picked up the car, even the manager commented that the guy must not've cleaned the rims before p repaired, manager agreed this would be done. Brake dust and dirt clearly trapped under the paint, and worse, there was black over-spray paint on the sides of the car! My husband spent a day polishing out the over-spray, but this dealership continues to be evasive as to fixing the rims. It's been a couple weeks and nothing. From a luxury car dealer I expected a lot more. They tried to go the cheap route and now they're not willing to stand up and fix their mistake. Don't trust these guys with your car, you'll regret it!!! More
Initially I came in to buy a Jag - Rob made the whole experience low key and low pressure - I very much appreciate that. In the event I ended up buying elsewhere but have come back here several times for service and will not go anywhere else despite the fact that there are 2 dealers closer to home ! Both Rob and Eric Trevino, service advisor, are true professionals and clearly know how to treat the customer. This dealership is a class act !! More

Worst service ever! The service advisors lie to you, they destroy your car and blame you, and they treat women like dirt. I brought my 2018 RR Velar in because the fuel sensor stopped working and after 10 weeks in the shop, over 3 months, they told me it was from a fender bender I was in 4 years earlier. I was yelled at, spoken to like a child, spoken over, humiliated, lied to and then they rolled their eyes at me when I came to get my vehicle. THEN and read this carefully- they damaged the U Joints in my driveshaft and told me that my car was near the end of its life- my car has 27,700 miles on it--- yes only TWENTY SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED miles and my car is near the end of its life. I have never driven off road, the car is garage kept and aside from the fender bender that had NO damage except for buffing out the scratch, my car is near the end of its life. To add to this- I also own a 2019 Jaguar and the service advisor LIED and told me it was out of warranty. Jaguar San Diego confirmed what my paperwork said that I have 18 months left! More
Honestly not great. It took 2 months to get my car repaired there. When I initially had it towed there, I was told the dealership did not do loaner vehicles resulting in It took 2 months to get my car repaired there. When I initially had it towed there, I was told the dealership did not do loaner vehicles resulting in me renting a car for 2 weeks (costing an unnecessary $2000) in a high market until I found out that the dealership does do loaner vehicles and was given one. When I finally was notified my vehicle was ready, I was told it is running fine now, but there were a few additional repairs that would need to be conducted in the future. Despite learning this when I came to pick it up, I drove it home to immediately find my engine smoking. When I opened the hood I found my engine coolant completely empty. I have since learned that my vehicle still cannot hold coolant causing it to leak profusely and making my vehicle ready to overheat at any time. I spent about $4600 and $2000 on a rental car just to have my vehicle back to square one. Even when it was being worked on my service rep, Matt, was nearly impossible to get ahold of and would never return calls. All in all some of worst customer service I have ever experienced. More

I sincerely believe the dealership has excelled in many ways and has become the luxury car service center we expect for our Jaguar and Land Rover cars. I believe in credit (or not) where it is due. My Jaguar had a Check Engine Light illuminate and was also about due for its annual service. I made had an appointment for 10:30 and arrived early. In less than ten minutes we were logged in and our Service Advisor, Mark Burrow, carefully listened to my concerns and appropriately determined the right course of action for repairs and scheduled maintenance. Within twenty minutes we were assigned a new Range Rover loaner vehicle (My Jaguar is still under warranty and included maintenance) and were on our way for the day. Mark called to advise that a sensor was bad and they had to order it and it would hopefully be in the next day. I received another call the following day indicating the vehicle was repaired, serviced and ready to go. I explained we had flooded roads that were impassible and would not be able to get in until the following morning; Mark assured that was fine. We picked up the car and it was in pristine condition. Even with the miserable weather it was washed and clean. Ran as it should and the inside was clean as always. I know this is a very busy service department as there are only two dealers in San Diego County. Not only does Mark make us feel as valued customers but as friends as well. Finally, this dealer has a new service manager, Travis Gale. I think this is a great step up for the dealership et al. Looking forward to a long sales and service relationship. More

Jay listened to what I thought I wanted in a car, asked some really pertinent questions and then showed me some great options. He spent a lot of time with me, answered my questions and never pressured me at all. I ended up buying a car that I love and fits my needs. It was a pleasant experience and I would recommend Jay and the dealership to everyone. Thank you Jay!! More
David was amazing! I was having a difficult time making a decision on a new car and he never pressured me and went way out of his way and spent tons of time both on the phone and in person trying to get me t decision on a new car and he never pressured me and went way out of his way and spent tons of time both on the phone and in person trying to get me the best deal possible on the car I decided on. David even picked us up at the train station! He spent hours with us going over the car patiently explaining all of the features even though he was late for a family function. David is nothing like what I have always experienced with car salesmen in the past as well as other Land Rover dealers I have been in contact with. He is a great guy, very low key, very professional...I cannot say enough about him and highly recommend anyone looking for a Range Rover Land Rover or Jaguar to go and meet with him. He truly made buying my new a pleasant experience! More
