Mary Ellen, We are very sorry to hear about your battery dying on you, especially during Christmas. I understand you spoke with our service manager who offered to cover a portion under goodwill for you. I am sorry this was not satisfactory resolution, although the vehicle would have been outside the state of MA limited warranty completely after 30 days. I did however pull the full service records, technician notes and multi-point inspection performed on this vehicle (as with all Jaffarian vehicles) for its safety and quality check. The battery was tested prior to sale to you with a Cold Crank Amp (CCA) reading of 600.... This translates to an all but brand new battery being in that vehicle when sold to you. We requested you to bring the vehicle back for further inspection so we could see if there was any reason the battery would have failed, and my understanding is you were located some distance away and that was not going to be feasible. Again, my sincerest apologies for your Holiday inconvenience, I did want to reassure you that Jaffarian had in fact checked and certified that battery prior to your purchase. We are happy to inspect it at no charge to you in the near future should you be in the area and so desire.
