Thomas is very helpful. My brother passed away and I need an oil change and he got me in first thing in the morning and got me out in an hour. Which was very helpful. First off let me say my family is a KIA family all of our vehicles in the last 10 years have been purchased from you company I've had nothing but great words to say about KIA when people have asked me about vehicles in the last 10 years have been purchased from you company I've had nothing but great words to say about KIA when people have asked me about service here . In 2019 I paid cash for my car along with purchasing the extra extended warranty. It was a great experience and a Blessing for me to right those checks. I took my car in for a regular oil change/tire rotation and also my passenger side window wouldn't go up. I was assisted by Mia.I had never dealt with her before, sitting in the waiting room about 15min she approaches me to tell me they're getting started and my window should be covered and the price for the other work was discussed and I agreed with all recommendations which was the oil changeandtire rotation and window repair. 10min later she comes back and tells me my brakes front and back need done the front more than the back and my warranty will not cover my window repair and its going to be over $500 I said I don't understand it should be covered, she said it wasn't and my extended warranty only covered engine issues I'm shocked and I said I don't have that kind of money today, so I said do the front brakes and the maintenance I agreed upon and I'll have to come back for the window next week she said they would get the window up for me so I'd be okay if it rained and I said okay. I sat there and thought this can't be right when I purchased my car the finance guy told me for extra protection if it was him he'd get the extra extended on top of the 100,000 mile warranty that was still on my car because cars today have so many computers and electrical components if it was him or someonein his familyhe wouldadvisethem to get I told him i wouldsleepon it and get back to them he said that's fine. So I knew I had the coverage. I walk back to service area and tell Mia this can't be right about my warranty she says it is but says let me check again, she looks it up and there it is an older and is next to her and says yes if she has platinum she is covered, by this time I'm upset I go back sit down Mia comes over 10 min later and tells me what I already know I'm covered. No apology for the mistake she also tells me the part will take 2days to come in I say okay I assume the other work has been done on my car and Mia gives me my keys I drive off look behind me where I taped a garbage bag because I was scared of rain getting in my car, and noticed my back window is not up .I go back to the dealership and ask I thought they were going to push the window up for me. Mia said they tried and it kept coming down I said I don't have a garage and I barely got the trash bag on there if it rains I'm in trouble no response I go okay drive off thinking I'll go to auto zone and see if they have something I can use on my open window. My phone rings and it's Mia she says come back we have 4 loner cars I don't know why I didn't say that to you. Still no apology. I go back up there Mia tells me they will put it in the bay so it will be covered if it rains and they will call me when the repair is done probably 2/3 days. I leave and I work less than a mile away from the dealership. The next day torrential down pouring rail all afternoon and evening I immediately felt panicked before bed when I thought about my car and I calmed down and thought no my car is in the bay like Mia said. Mia calls me the next morning to tell me maintenance has the part and is working on my cars he says she'll call me when its ready for pickup great I say. A couple of hours later I get a text from her saying my car is ready and it will be $530 I get there and ask for a manager she ask why and what's wrong I'm visibly upset and tell her that price can't be right it's more than I would have payed without a warranty. I asked her did they do all of the brakes or something? And she said no just the front ones and brake flush I said I didn't agree to that and it was not explained to me that way she starts deducting something and tells me it will be $390 by now I just want to go home tears a falling out of sheer frustration I pay she brings my car up I get in and immediately smell wetness I reach my hand in the back seat and water oh my Lord it's sopping wet in my back seat I go back in the dealership and an older man who was there when I first came in ask if I need assistance I tell him my back seat is wet he ask me if I have 30in they'll wet vac it. I'm livid at this point anyone else would have lost it but I said calm because I was Praying I go to the waiting room about 25min pass and Mia comes to tell me they wet vac and it's still wet she apologizes finally and tells me it's her fault she parked my car in the back parking lot assuming maintenance would move it inside the bay and they did not. She said she would make sure everything would be made right by this time I'm numb tears this is my 1st ever purchase of a car that's not ten to 15years old and I Love my car all I wanted was to keep up with my maintenance and take care it, and know this! They gave me another loner car I hear nothing for 4 days I finally called on the 5th day I man answers the phone and tells me Mia will call me back. 3hrs later no call. I call again and Mia answers the phone I explain who I am and she says Oh yeah your car is ready you can come pick it up. At this point I'm just done and thinking please Lord let my car be right and I don't end up with a mold filled vehicle I pick it up and leave, I notice my seat belts on the driver side or still damp my trust is truly shaken my experience buying my car was so Wonderful to. I am beyond sad about this whole nightmare. I've been getting notifications to do this and I put it off until now because I didn't want to relive it I just Pray my car will be alright. And I sat quietly in the waiting room and a lot of your customers where complaining about the customer service. Now I'm wondering about another repair I had done last year that I was told was covered under my warranty and I drove off only to get a call to come back saying it wasn't covered and in my gut I knew it was my trust in Jackson KIA is definitely shaken.
