Keith, sorry that you feel like you were misled or lied to. We pride ourselves on great customer service at Jack Schmitt Chevrolet of O'fallon and we have countless google reviews stating their experiences. Unfortunately due to the current inventory levels, all dealerships are having an extremely hard time offering loaner vehicles to everyone, this is an issue at every dealership right now not just ours, and is not something we can control, we try and help out our customers the best we can and accommodate them in any way to help them out while their vehicle is at our shop for repairs. As far as the tire issues, our extended warranties do not cover potholes, which were the cause of the damage, that is covered under your comprehensive coverage of the car insurance and is why your claim was denied through our extended warranty company and unfortunately, we have no control over that. If there is anything we can do to help correct this situation or answer any additional questions please reach out to a sales manager at 618-628-2500 and we will be happy to explain anything in further detail and answer any questions you might have.

The tires WERE covered by the extended tire warranty I purchased from Jack Schmitt. This review is about lying to me about getting a loaner car when my car needed work. The automobile inventory shortage (as a result of the global chip shortage) was already well underway. Your inventory levels didn't drop that drastically in the few weeks between the time I bought my car and the time I needed the repair. The promise of a loaner car should not have been made in the first place! To add insult to injury, I couldn't even get a ride to the rental place from anyone at Jack Schmitt despite it just being a couple blocks away. I guess they didn't want to deal with me being pissed 'cuz I had to rent a car. If Jack Schmitt couldn't provide me a loaner AS PROMISED, they could have at least given me a ride to rent the car! The rental car was $780 for seven (7) days; The cost of the tires covered under the warranty was slightly less and I was without my car for seven days. *** If I wasn't in a position to pay for a rental -as some people may not be- I would have been stranded for seven days!

They sell lemons. Don't buy from them. They don't inspect the used vehicles they sell. Be sure to buy a service contract. They don't honor their cars. More

We are a GM Certified service center and every vehicle we sell goes through General Motors Certified 172 point safety inspection before a customer is even allowed to test drive a vehicle off our dealership lot. We do offer extended warranties to customers and with how advanced vehicles are getting with technology we highly recommend them to customers. We always try and help our customers out the best we can and give them the best customer service before and after the purchase of their vehicle. We tried that. No help there. My son didn't buy warranty. Had to put 3000 in it for a truck purchased in January. You didn't inspect it well enough.
