I called the Chrysler dealer in Poway but was met with, "We can see you next week, we're so busy right now...etc." This response was unacceptable. I then called the people who should have been called in the first place, Jack Powell Chrysler in Escondido. There we met Darren. Like a breath of fresh air, he gave us all the info we needed to know within 2 minutes of speaking with him. People like Darren is why we would recommend this location for all your automotive service needs. More

complete waste of time, not organized I have never been so pissed off in a long while. I went in for a recall on my vehicle, which was a scheduled appointment. It was done through the cust I have never been so pissed off in a long while. I went in for a recall on my vehicle, which was a scheduled appointment. It was done through the customer service line and was told that I would have a rental/loaner vehicle in place so that I could get back to work that morning no problem. Once I arrived at the dealership, people were being seen before me who had gotten there after I had, then when they finally got to me and I asked the guy at the desk for my loaner vehicle, he proceeded to tell me that I would have to wait until 1000(I was there at 0715) when Enterprise opened to get a car because he doesn't see any arrangements for a vehicle. I drove 40 mins to get there and 40 mins back home with no sort of reimbursement for gas or my time wasted because of their delinquency. I would NEVER waste my time or recommend anyone go there to waste their's on such disorganized service. They did offer to complete my service in an hour, but knowing that they couldn't be trusted from what friends have told me and from my experience that day I decided it was better off to take my butt to work. Needless to say, my husband and I have put this car up for sale since we don't want anything to do with this brand anymore. More
Dont even get your car serviced here. Worst experience ever I am going to give 3 solid reason why you should NEVER GO TO JACK POWELL. 1. I had a differential leak. Took it in, charged me $800 to fix seals o I am going to give 3 solid reason why you should NEVER GO TO JACK POWELL. 1. I had a differential leak. Took it in, charged me $800 to fix seals on both sides and main seal (I said WOW, I cant believe it, it actually started leaking on both sides of the differential and the main seal all at the same time). Drove it home. Kept leaking. Went back, they charged me another hour just to tell me there was 1 loose bolt... that was the whole problem from the beginning! 2. Needed simple alignment. My wife took the car in, they gave her a bill for $3500 thinking they could take advantage of her to replace all of the front suspension (Control arms, shocks, everything). I told her take it to an alignment shop and ask them to look everything over then align. They said everything was fine, we paid $65 for the alignment. 3. There is a fuel tank recall (instead they are calling it "Lifetime Warranty") for a problem that makes the car shut off, generally in the middle of the road. My wife is too afraid to drive the car, since this is a technical thing I had no choice but to go back to Jack Powell, the dealer that sucks. They told me the fuel tank they would replace no cost (Wow, I was happy. In the past they just denied the problem all together). What do you know, now they are billing me for removal of the exhaust, $250, because the exhaust was modified. Keep in mind, removing the exhaust is the only way to remove the gas tank period, with or without modification. Go anywhere else. Do not go here. Major rip off. These guys really make me mad! More
Brought my 2004 Dodge Ram with 80K on the odometer in for extensive service as I tow my race car a lot with this truck. My wife followed me in but one of my important needs was to be picked up by their shuttle when work was completed. Last time I brought my vehicle in I was living in Poway but I now live in Jeffries Ranch 18 miles from Jack Powell. The two people that checked me in both said it would not be a problem. I got my estimate, signed for it and left with my wife. I got a call later in the day that they had found a few more things. One of the additional items was that the power steering pump was leaking. They wanted $1300 to replace it! I declined (obviously) and got the standard water pump online for $55 (free shipping) and Mack at Oceanside Automotive near my house will install it for $150. This is why I am always skeptical about certain dealers. When the truck was ready (the bill was just shy of $1100) Amr called me and I asked for the shuttle to come pick me up. Suddenly it's a big problem. Amr told me in no uncertain terms that no way they would do that, I was beyond their range. I reminded him of what I was told on check in and after much arguing and rudeness he finally allowed they would try to pick me up the next day this one time. When the driver arrived he said it was no problem for me to be picked up, even if it had been the day before. I picked up my truck, paid the bill and couldn't help but notice they had not even bothered to wash it. It even had additional grease marks around the hood where they had been working. I promise I will avoid Jack Powell in future and should any dealership needs arise, will try Bob Baker in Vista as they are much closer (haven't tried them but they've got to be better). They recommended I take my truck to Jack Powell in Escondido. This simply was the best customer service I have ever received from any repair facility. They fixed the problem on the first day and everyone I came in contact with was extremely friendly and helpful. In the future I will drive the extra distance and have my vehicle serviced here. More
I avoid them at any cost! Gave them 3 chances and they failed every time! Door ding, promised to get touch up paint and didn't, shady workmanship, couldn't even adjust a replaced head light correctly, was failed every time! I got into a wreck on 395 coming home from Mammoth when the ski rack on the car in front of me flew off and nearly impaled my windshield. I had a HUGE dent in the side of the car, and needed a lot of body work. After turning my car in, one of the dealership owners, Jasmine Powell, came and introduced herself to me, and told me that she had a similar experience happen, and almost died. She took me to lunch and gave me a really great deal on the work. I will definitely bring my car back to this dealership every time I need something. I'm not one for brand loyalty...but I will definitely return to Jack Powell. Definitely. More
