Obviously when buying a car, both parties go back and forth with offers and counteroffers. For my wife and I, this process went smoothly. Abby did her best to meet our offer and, ultimately, we were very satisfied. My wife is on her 4th Jeep from Jack Powell and persuaded me to trade in my old Ford for a new Jeep Renegade. I couldn’t be happier. It’s a fabulous car with so much roominess and comfort, great handling, lots of extra features that come standard - and it’s a beautiful vehicle to look at. The finance guy, Keith Schipper was very personable and professional. The dealership has clean restrooms, vending machine snacks and drinks and plenty of comfortable seating. I appreciate and highly recommend this dealership! More

I purchased a 2022 Ram 5500 motorhome which experienced a recall for an intake air grid relay. I have called the service department 5 times and connected three times and was promised a return call. The car is full of issues, with multiple recalls, and electronics, air conditioning not working. We bought a new Jeep thinking it was a durable car, but completely wrong, it's garbage. More important we service our car at a "DEALER" because it's expected they would provide the best service, once again totally wrong. Jack Powell blames Chrysler for the 2 month-delay on approving warranty issues, Chrysler said they approved everything and don't understand the delay, now it seems they are out of parts. Overall it's a terrible experience and terrible service, Jack Powell NEVER AGAIN!!! More
Very disappointing experience. Sales guy was nice enough, but did not know the car well. He asked for a 10 rating before he even went over the car details. The finance manager was Sales guy was nice enough, but did not know the car well. He asked for a 10 rating before he even went over the car details. The finance manager was in a huge hurry, even though they only sold 3 cars that day. The manager was invisible to me as a client, except walking around flexing his muscles and making things more difficult as they insisted on a $5000 mark up, plus a extremely low trade in offer. At the end of the day, its really about getting the car you want at a fair price, so the dealership really makes no difference. I expected to get a thanks, glad you bought from us, build a relationship with a buyer, but not at this dealership. I held my ground and got the car for the price i wanted, sold my trade in on Caravan for 40% more that these guys offered. Not gonna pay a mark up, those days are over, not gonna buy all the xx they try to sell you. Clear coat, a tracking system for $1600... Joke.... just use Apple tracking for $20... Extended warranty...where the finance manager makes a huge commission. Its amazing dealers like this thrive... Do your research buyers! Thxs for reading, i wont go back or recommend anyone does.... Im a Nurse, and I had been saving up for seven years to have a down payment for a new truck. I had my first truck, a Toyota when I was 23, loved it. So, I was excited when I finally had enough money to get have a down payment for a new truck. I had my first truck, a Toyota when I was 23, loved it. So, I was excited when I finally had enough money to get another truck, imagine my shock when the truck at the dealership for the base line trim was 30k over MSRP. But, I figured hey, I still want a truck so decided to do business with these guys. I selected an eco-diesel as it is more enviromentally friendly than a hybrid or electric, and the power/torque ratio was good. My first issue was a warning saying the batter charging system was not working, I took pics, and took it into the dealership, it took them two weeks to even look at my truck, then, when I went to pick it up, I find my truck rammed up on a curb, and the sales people unwilling to help me locate a key that the service dept said they were going to give to them so I could pick it up after my shift. But, my family loved our new truck. So when, while in Texas visiting family, the truck died on a busy state by-way, I was very upset. Then come to find out, that not only had my battery not been replaced, the fuel pump had died, and sent metal through the entire fuel system. So, I did some digging, and found out there was a standing recall for 2020-2022 RAM eco-diesels for these, and that the same BOSCH fuel pump had caused recalls on 2014-2019 RAM, JEEP, Fiat vehicles, and that Ford, and Chevy has also had issues. Which we were not told at the time of sale, we were also told that our truck had a locking diff, which it did not, were told we had an extended fuel cell, which we did not. Do not trust, or buy from this dealership. More

I brought my 2014 Ram 3500 in for service on Tuesday, 19 July for an Engine Light code and the inability to get a smog certificate for my registration renewal. The Customer Service in your Service Departmen July for an Engine Light code and the inability to get a smog certificate for my registration renewal. The Customer Service in your Service Department was less than satisfactory in communicating the status of my vehicle. In addition, the maintenance progress was also less than satisfactory. With my multiple phone calls and multiple messages left since I dropped off my vehicle, I got two return calls back, UNSAT! It started from the moment I dropped off my truck with Matt, the service desk individual, who told me the service mechanic who does the diagnostic checks is on vacation and will not return for a week. With that said, I find it hard to believe a dealership as big as Jack Powell only has one diagnostic check mechanic. If so, it’s a single point of failure. With what Matt told me, I was left with the thought, that my truck will be sitting in the parking lot for at least a week untouched and collecting dirt. On Friday, 29 July I received a phone call from Matt explaining the cause of the problem, the way to fix it, and the cost. I gave the thumbs up for the repair. Matt explained the part was not in stock and had to be ordered with an estimated repair and returned to me date around the week of the 8 August. I called the service department on 9 August to get a status check. After multiple attempts, someone finally answered the phone and told me Matt was on vacation for a week and I had to wait until he returned. I find it hard to understand and believe I couldn’t get an update on the maintenance progress of my truck because the service desk individual was on vacation. If the download of a pass down from the service mechanic is being done on the computer every time they have hands on the vehicle, another service desk individual should be able to pull up the information and see the progress. If this is not the case, this is another single point of failure. I called again on Tuesday, 16 August after multiple calls with no return calls answering my messages. I finally got a hold of Matt at the end of the day. I was told by Matt my truck was fixed last week, the week of 8-12 August, he also stated he needs my approval for my truck to be driven a long distance to get the drive cycle complete and the driver will be driving my truck to his home in Murrieta to attempt to get the drive cycle complete. In addition, Matt said this might take several drives. To clarify, I called for an update and was asked by Matt for the driving approval. What if I wouldn’t have called? My truck just sits there with no drive cycles being performed? UNSAT!!! On the morning of 18 August, I received a phone call from Matt, 29 days after I dropped off my truck at Jack Powell. Matt told me my truck has been fixed but it’s taking a bit longer to get the last cycle run to get an all-green check however, as it stands it will pass smog. Matt offered to smog it and have the truck ready for pick up. I agreed and said I will pick up my truck later in the afternoon. When I got to Jack Powell and received my truck back I was in a raging shock at how my truck looked like after knowing how I left it 29 days ago. I am an individual who takes care of all my vehicles very well. I keep them very clean, outside, inside, underneath, and the engine compartment. When I saw my truck, it was 100% opposite of how I left it with Jack Powell. It had 29 days of sitting in the parking lot dirt on it and mud all over the tires, on the sides, and underneath. The inside had dirt dusty all over, mud on the driver’s floor, mud stains on the driver side carpet, and dirt stains on the driver's leather seat. The rear compartment area in the cab was altered enough for me to notice someone was snooping around where they should have been. - Is this the professional service Jack Powell gives? - Does Jack Powell use protective coverings for seats and floors? Obviously not used on my truck. - Was mud driving part of the drive cycle requirements? It took me about six hours to scrub off and clean Jack Powell’s mess. This type of Customer Service and Maintenance Service and Practices must be a common thing with Jack Powell. The poor communication on vehicle status updates and maintenance service practices were the same issues last time I brought my truck to Jack Powell several years ago. I purchased my truck at Jack Powell in 2014. The attention and customer service at the time of purchase were through the roof, but that stopped once Jack Powell had my money. With my overall experience and the condition of my truck when returned, its apparent Jack Powell has a poor maintenance department. Suggestion for Jack Powell is to revamp the Service Department in all aspects from the top to the bottom. More
Worst service department in San Diego county. Service manager is a tyrant. Waited 30 minutes before they told me 100.00 for an oil change and to make an appointment and come back another day, e Service manager is a tyrant. Waited 30 minutes before they told me 100.00 for an oil change and to make an appointment and come back another day, even though they had no other oil changes today. That was very upsetting, so I told them social media is coming, they then told me to leave and refused to do the v51 recall on my vehicle. More
