Low pressure car buying experience! I was looking for a Honda Odyssey van. After getting a low ball quote for my trade from my local dealer I decided to check with dealerships in other c I was looking for a Honda Odyssey van. After getting a low ball quote for my trade from my local dealer I decided to check with dealerships in other cities including Lawrence. Got a phone call from Monty asking me to come in so that they can evaluate my trade and also let me test drive the 2018 Odyssey. Matt was assigned to work with me through the buying process. He was very helpful and asked me about the features I was looking for in a new van. He then indicated that the EX-L/Nav trim would actually meet my "must have" requirements and did not try to sell me the Touring trim like the local dealer did. We did a test drive around Lawrence while Aaron and Monty evaluated my trade. After the test drive, I was not pressured into any negotiations that day as I told them my wife needs to test drive the car as well before we make a decision. Before leaving, Monty assured me that they will make a fair offer for my trade and also give me a good deal on the new van. We went in the next day and test drove the van again. As promised we were given a fair value for our trade and a good price on the new van. All negotiations were done in a low pressure setting. I recommend Matt for his helpfulness and Monty for overall pricing/buying process. More
