A great experience with the dealership and the salesperson First off, I would like to make it clear that this review was not solicited. Second, I would much rather go to the dentist for a root canal surgery than purchase a car (new or used) from any dealer. In the last week of December 2015, my wife and I visited 8 auto dealerships to test drive a number of SUVs she liked and decide which would be the best for her. Our experience with Jack Daniels Porsche was by far the best and I am tempted to say that it was perfect. When we first stepped in the showroom on 30-DEC-2015, all the salespersons were busy helping other customers. By the way, what a showroom !!! Talk about a candy store for grown-ups !!! In any case, we started walking around and soon found a silver Cayenne on display which was the model we were thinking about. Within a couple of minutes, one of the receptionists came over to inquire how she could help us. We told her we would like to test drive a Cayenne. David Kramer promptly came to greet us, and explained to us that he was finishing a transaction. He offered to have us test drive the vehicle with one of the dealership employees (not a salesman) and we agreed. Upon our return, David was ready for us and explained to us the differences between the various models and how to use the Porsche online configurator, making recommendations along the way as to which options we should really consider for our needs. After a while, we left JD Porsche and went to other dealerships. Because it soon became clear that the Cayenne had made it to the top of my wife's list, we came back the next day unannounced and asked David K. if we could test drive the Cayenne again. He not only obliged but also suggested we test drive the hybrid version. Since there were none outside, he and a couple of other employees moved vehicles around on the showroom floor and took the hybrid on display out of the showroom for us to drive. Amazing. David then spent more time with us and when I asked about the service area, he took us across the street inside the garage to see where the cars are serviced (over 16 bays if I remember properly). We then spent some time talking with the service manager who explained many things about the Cayenne and the service area. After well over an hour, we were again on our way. We spent some time on New Year's Day configuring the vehicle we wanted. We called David K. on Saturday morning to see if he was free. We walked in the dealership around 10 a.m. and within 15 minutes, we had a deal, the car was ordered and we paid our deposit. I had asked for a delivery in mid April. In fact, the Cayenne was ready in late March, but we only picked it up in the 3rd week of April. Of all the dealerships we visited, not one came close to the level of service, friendliness and attention we experienced at Jack Daniels Porsche. We were never pressured to buy anything or urged to do a deal on the spot or by a certain date (year-end for instance). What a concept. Dealing with David K. and Chris D. was a pleasure (it really was) and the whole legacy car buying experience I had endured for the last 30 years suddenly disappeared to make way for what I would surprisingly call an enjoyable experience. This is our first Porsche and our first experience with the Jack Daniels Group of dealerships. I hope it is only the start of a long and happy relationship. More

Before I had ever met David, I had learned that he spent nearly a full day with my friend and his wife on their purchase, and he wasn't even their salesperson! They were incredibly impressed by him and when I had told them that I was in the market for a Porsche, they referred me directly to him. I had brought a friend to my test drive and we were both impressed with David's demeanor and knowledge of the vehicles. he is truly a car buff. Most certainly, not at all what one expects from a typical car dealer. He clearly has a passion for these vehicles and shares it with a balanced exuberance. Indeed, he was so exceptional that both my friend (who was not really in the market for a Porsche) and I bought one. I especially appreciated the more than fair (I can't believe I am saying this about a car dealer--Porche nonetheless) price that he provided without any haggling. I haven't received my vehicle yet...it's to come in July, but I have no doubt that David will really enhance the experience by introducing me to the car. Truly a great experience all around and it's really all owed to David. I can't recommend him enough. More
