Car buying made a breeze! Couldn't have imagined a better experiance, other than cars lined up in my drive way to test drive! Everything was promt and above the standard. Everything was presented and offered just as they had explained over the phone, no surprises, no catch, straight forward and honest business. Mike in sales was very attentive balancing multiple customers with ease, which also helped the visit feel low pressure and comfortable! Finance was very helpful as well being very patient with any of my questions and taking time to explain everything till I had a clear understanding. It was OK, but watch out for the extra charges We had our eye on a 2015 Sonata 2.0 Limited for a bit. Once we were ready to buy, I got pre-approved outside the dealership from Capital One so all I We had our eye on a 2015 Sonata 2.0 Limited for a bit. Once we were ready to buy, I got pre-approved outside the dealership from Capital One so all I had to do was pick the car I wanted. I had been in contact with the salesman since test driving one of the cars. We went in to purchase the car. The finance part was simple since I was already pre-approved. I noticed that the monthly payment quoted did not match up with the sales price and loan terms. I asked why there was such a difference and the salesman went to talk to the finance person. He said that Capital One automatically added the extended warranty onto the financing. I haven't bought a new car in ages but had never heard of that before. I contacted Capital One Auto afterwards and they claimed that they do no such thing. They blamed the dealer. They said all they do is give me X amount for a loan and it's up to me to choose the car, options, etc. I was also told I had to buy the VIN# window etching in order to get the best sales price. I had no experience with this service and I wasn't into it but was told it was required to get the sales price. I researched it a bit and it doesn't seem worth the price and most feedback on it say it's just a way to earn extra cash for the dealership. I know it's a business and all, but it kind of left me a bit bummed and I felt a bit swindled. I could be off-base and this could be an awesome service but just saying how it feels after the fact. The car had sat on the lot for 9 months or so. It was cleaned and had the gas tank filled before we left but there was a lot of dirt built up in areas like under the gas cap cover and trunk area. It could use a professional detailing or at least a more thorough cleaning. Maybe I am being too picky? The only other concern I have with the car is the loud clicking noise it makes when I start it up. The salesman said it's something with the fuel pump and will go away after 500 miles or so and needs a "break-in" period. I was reading about this issue online and most of the feedback is that it doesn't go away and will always happen on a cold-start of the car. It doesn't happen on warm-starts I noticed. I've already hit 500 miles and it's still doing it. If it's still happening at 1000 miles I will be talking to the dealership about it. Other than that, it's a really nice car with tons of features and a great bang for the buck. The car is nice and the price was really good. The dealership is nice and clean and everyone was friendly.
