I am a 22 year old female trying to build my credit. I had been car shopping for a few months with lots of turn downs by other dealerships. I went to JT Auto Mart not thinking I was going to drive a car h had been car shopping for a few months with lots of turn downs by other dealerships. I went to JT Auto Mart not thinking I was going to drive a car home. The day I was there every thing was fine. They got be approved for the car I wanted a 2007 Honda accord with my payments being $240 a month, right where I wanted it. I had to have my dad cosign and they were able to do all the paper work the day I was there on a Saturday and just have my dad come in on the following Monday to sign his part. I drove the car home the happiest girl in the world! When me and my dad came back on Monday they had us wait so they could get the paper work done, (didn't understand this because all the paper work was done my dad just needed to sign) a lady came out asking if I wanted a warranty making my payments $284 a month, I declined the offer. When my dad and I was asked into the office finally, my payments all of a sudden went up to $278 which meant I was only paying $6 more for the warranty, which made me feel like it was a good deal. After thinking for a minute I grew concerned. I already signed the contract for my payments being $240 why is it going up? After arguing with Lamar I felt helpless because he made it sound "good" and I was basically told if I didn't want to do the deal anymore I would loose my $2400 down payment and if I took it to court I would loose. (it nice terms) My first day's paper work was shredded and I now only have the new paper work. So now I am paying more a month for the same amount of months....long story short I got screwed and as a young female I feel violated. More
I was going to buy a 2004 Chevrolet Express 3500 cargo van. I had talked with a salesman and agreed on a price then I drove 230 miles one way to pay cash and bring the van back to s.c. After looking and driving the van I had decided to make the purchase and asked about the warranty the salesman said there is not one but i may purchase one. But on there webpage they offered a Free 90day-3000 mile warranty on all vechicles and when I showed the salesman the web-page print out and the salesman said they did offer a free 90 day warranty but they stopped that about a week ago and the web-page has not been changed yet. So I did not buy the van because of the "False advertising" and the salesman lying to me. The matter was even brought to the manager attention and I was told I can buy it or not he did not care nor the fact I had drove 230 miles one way and took a day off work. SO BUYER BEWARE DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH JT AUTO MART........ More
At first I had a great experience but when I got in accident and the car was totaled everything changed. Jack told me that he was going to keep the car, let me pay the difference, so I would still have accident and the car was totaled everything changed. Jack told me that he was going to keep the car, let me pay the difference, so I would still have a car with a salvage title but when the insurance agent got there he told them that he wanted all the money. Then the insurance company took the car. Jack did not keep his word and help me like promised. I understand that a business is out to make money but if your going to give your word then you should stand by it!! Jack also could not even tell me to my face that he was not going to get the salvage title and left the lot after telling the insurance agent to take the car. The insurance agent was the one that told me that he wanted the money not the title. More

The entire staff was awesome at JT Automart. My salesman, Jack, had an outstanding personality and went above and beyond. Llamar, sales manager, was the best sales manager I've ever worked with. salesman, Jack, had an outstanding personality and went above and beyond. Llamar, sales manager, was the best sales manager I've ever worked with. He made every effort he knew of to get me in the car I really wanted. Donna provided me with all the documentation I needed to sign, and was very polite and patient. Jim, the owner, is an outstanding person, who understood my situation, and never second guessed what I wanted to do. This is my car dealer for life. More
I looked on JT Autos website for about a month or so and liked the big selection of cars they have. So I finally saw a car that I thought would be great for me and my 2 girls I have!! I test drove the car and liked the car a lot but there was a few things that concerned me starting with a radio not working, airbag light (they fixed airbag light after I told them I'm not driving off with that on), brake light out, ( all these other issues came on after I left dealer within 3 days) wheels needed balancing and alignment, coolant needed flushing, radio cost me $500, check engine light came on along with brake pads light and last the back windshield wiper doesn't spray right. I've bought a few cars in my life and I've never had a dealer sell me a car with all these issues and the warranty they sold me doesn't even cover it. Paid full list price to top it off cause I felt good about it at first. I was going to bring it back to the dealer and tell him what happened(I called and left a voicemail about it) but if they didn't bother running a used car through a inspection and checkpoint list then I don't even trust them to touch my car again to be honest!! The finance manager was great and owner made me feel a little good about fixing airbag light. The only thing that might help with all these issues is some kind of reimbursement of some sort. I'm a entrepreneur and customer service is #1 for me as a business owner / the customers always right! Hope this helps someone in there future purchase. Very upset and diss appointed with the whole transaction. Never recieved the 25$ gift card either that was promised to me in the sales office! -ChadT. More
Purchased truck and a warranty, both parties agreed that they would fix window switch panel. I live in a different county and work two jobs and go to nursing school. So the salesman Ryan offered to pick my truck up from my job and drive it back to dealership to have the part fixed. We agreed he would be there before 7am and he didn't show up until 10am then I didn't get my truck back until 7pm and no work had been done. Another salesman brought it back and said Ryan didn't get it there until 4pm so no one could work on it. So that was the first tank of gas wasted and no clue where Ryan and his cousin went joyriding in my truck all day. After the joyride the ABS and check engine light came on and still haven't gone off 3 months later and now I have to jump start the truck every single time I wan to go anywhere. The next week after working third shift in the ER and first shift at my other job I drove up their because they said they would fix the truck. Once I wasted my gas to get there they didn't have the part so the salesman said I have good news and I have bad news...you can go home and sleep, because I was falling asleep from exhaustion while sitting on the couch but we don't have the part today. So at this point I had to wait until they got the real part and guess what my temporary tags expired. My brother took the truck up there once again, I asked them to check abs and battery while they had it. Their response was it wasn't covered under the warranty they sold me. And oddly enough I got a new temporary tag and no one told me why. My second temporary tag was about to expire so I went to DMV and they told me I had to contact the DMV inspector who filled me in on what was going on not JT's, whom I bought the truck from. So I had to ride around on expired tags for a month before I got an actual license plate and jt's never bothered to tell me why. So after getting fed up with jump starting the truck three times a day between school and two jobs I told them I wanted my money back they told me if I could get the finance company to agree to that they would give me back my cash. Well today when I went to collect because Chase finance so no problem they said they refused to buy out the contract and it wasn't that easy. More

I visited JT Automart located on us-1 in Sanford NC last month and purchased a vehicle in full because they did not approve me for payments no matter my down payment. The car nearly killed my entire family month and purchased a vehicle in full because they did not approve me for payments no matter my down payment. The car nearly killed my entire family three days later because the Radiator pulley, radiator belt, fuse box, tuning, brakes, and two catalytic converters were all bad. after I had purchased it and they gave it to me from their auto detailer down the street I noticed it smelled strongly of bonding agents burning. The copies of the papers given to me with my signed name are not what I remember signing either. She did scan the originals and print out a duplicate. I now feel they may have altered my copies. This was my first vehicle purchase so I know I was completely fooled by them. I tried to contact them twice by phone and the manager Jim would not get on the phone with me. So I e-mailed them informing them that their failure to communicate leaves me no choice but to write reviews and that their secretary failed to sign some documents. All they responded with was You can't do anything. I am now paying out of pocket because I am unable to get an extended warranty because the car is so damaged. More
