Hi! I'm Richard Wofford. My car has been in the auto service department in Longview, Tx. at Jd Byrider on 1007 West Marshall Ave. since October 3rd of 20 I'm Richard Wofford. My car has been in the auto service department in Longview, Tx. at Jd Byrider on 1007 West Marshall Ave. since October 3rd of 2022, receiving a new transmission, that's under my 35,000 miles warranty. I was told that my car would be ready on the 13th of oct. I called that morning and was told that the part hadn't come in yet and I would be notified on the 17th of oct. I then stated I'm a UTA student and a mobile barber, which is how I make my income to pay my rent, lights, water, car note, etc. and really needed my vehicle. I was told nothing can be done. I asked about a renter or a loaner and was told nothing can b did. I asked if I got my own renter, can my money be reimbursed and was again, told nothing can b did. well, here it is the 17th and still, no vehicle. I have my 2nd car note approaching, Friday, for this month and has been without a car this whole month and behind financially due to being without my vehicle. I have yet to find a level of agreement with them and has contacted my lawyer to pursuit a due case process, to go over my complete contract details, where I've been violated or restricted of anything entitled or where my contract has not been applied effectively ....... I walked in the dealership with a bad mood, thought experience would be like every other car dealership experience. I have had a terrible experience with these people. After having my vehicle for only one WEEK the alternator went out and I had to put it in the shop shortly after that my vehicle began running hot. Two months later the computer (ecm fuse panel) went out and for a month and a half now I have been paying for a car I CANNOT DRIVE. The best the service department did was get me a used part that cannot be used because it's already programmed to another car (every shop I have taken my vehicle to has told me that I need to take this car back to byrider and either get my money back or get another vehicle) and I've been told by the manager of the service department that they will not do anything else for my vehicle. When I spoke to my sales person (Michelle) she was very rude and shut down the notion of me getting another vehicle since I was sold a lemon and told me the car is mine regardless of what issues I am having with it and I have only had the car for four months at this point this is ridiculous those people are rude crooks looking to make a sale and do not hold up to their own warranty and garuntees they give you when you make the purchase. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from this dealership ever. More
