They’ll help in one way but not in others. J.D. Byrider helped me get a car when my beater car was barely running, had 0 credit, and had no other options. They helped budget payments into my pa J.D. The sales guy was really nice and the financing dept are really nice and helpful. The guys in the shop are super nice too. But, me and other people who get cars from them, experience great test drives with the cars but mechanical issues galore after that. I test drove the car. Loved it. Went to take it home and all of the sudden the rear left turn signal was out. Didn’t have any other option so sent the car back after work the next day. Got it “fixed” worked fine when I drove it home. Went back out later that night and the light was out again. Told them what was going on and they couldn’t squeeze me in until the following week. The next day I was driving home and my car overheated and I couldn’t drive it and had to get It towed up there. Of course they didn’t fix the light. Then, the tire pressure sensor went out (whatever no big deal, I didn’t need it anyways) then I go to use the widow wiper fluid and it doesn’t work. I could barely see out of my window. Took it in, they can’t fix it for another week because they needed to order a special part. But they fixed the light. Took it back in and had to sit in the waiting room for 2 hours for them to fix the window fluid. I got pulled over for the turn light and had to weasel out of a ticket that day. This all happened in a months time. I get it, cars need OCASSIONAL work but Christ.. there needs to be more inspections before they put the car out on the lot. Either that, or have the shops open and close later for us who have to work and get penalized for missing or leaving work early. I’ve been greatly stressed and inconvenienced by the constant maintenance on this car. At least my junk car I had before then, got my to work on time and didn’t have me going to the shop 1-2 times a week. More
