Where do I start? I have had nothing but problems with this dealer service department. First it was with my 97 Expedition that they could never find the cause of an engine miss, I found that one. Then i this dealer service department. First it was with my 97 Expedition that they could never find the cause of an engine miss, I found that one. Then it was with my 2002 Focus (that I bought from them). I have had the car in 7 times for a coolant leak with in 2 weeks, they eventually found after I pointed it out to them. The clutch master cylinder was replaced (at cost to me but the car was under warranty) and it took 3 return trips for them to get the clutch and cruise lock out switches set, they claimed it wasn't their fault even though they had just replaced the clutch master cylinder and had the pedals disassembled, eventually they took care of it after I got quite loud with them. The final straw was a clutch throwout bearing that they claimed wasn't warrantied and wanted $2000 to repair, but the next dealer in Springfield I took it to replaced under warranty and was surprised JC Lewis denied it. Recently I purchased a 2008 Super Duty Diesel (from a dealer in TX), I took the truck in to get some small cosmetic issues resolved. The "service advisor" just gave me a run around. When I purchased my Focus from them in 2002, they were sneaky and tried to change the terms of the contract, it wasn't until I threatened to walk that they honored the terms originally set forth (Ford 0% financing). I recently visited to purchase a 2008 Super Duty, their prices were way above the competition and they tried to be sneaky with the pricing. I purchased a truck in TX and saved an additional $10,000 over JC Lewis' price. I refuse to buy any thing from them or take my vehicles to them. They are disinterested in honoring warranties and their mechanics are incompetent. I have heard similar horror stories from co-workers and military personnel I work with. I guess JC Lewis feels they are the only game in town and you are stuck with them. This dealership represents all that is wrong with the American Automobile industry. Since Ford dealerships and service centers are not part of the Ford Corporation, this dealership can run amuck with no accountability. You are take a chance with your safety and your wallet if you visit this dealership. Sorry to be so harsh, but the truth will set you free. I am glad I am moving from Savannah and hopefully I will find a new and better dealership. More
This dealership did not pressure me into buying. We are not ones to rush into such a major purchase. J.C. Lewis Ford is the only place that I will deal with now. A refreshingly honest dealer when compare not ones to rush into such a major purchase. J.C. Lewis Ford is the only place that I will deal with now. A refreshingly honest dealer when compared to the other dealers in the area. Don't go to O.C. go to J.C. Lewis! More
Dealership refuses to "duplicate" that the fuel pump is going out. It is covered under Ford's ESP. I took my vehicle to another mechanic who showed me that the fuel pump is losing pressure. The pump is going out. It is covered under Ford's ESP. I took my vehicle to another mechanic who showed me that the fuel pump is losing pressure. The dealership refuses to allow me to show them the difficulties I have getting the car to crank, refuses to allow the mechanic show me that the pressure is normal, and refuses to acknowledge the other mechanic's statement. How can I prove my problem? Why won't they let me; because then they would have to replace it and they would lose revenue. It appears that he is trying to help me out, but my vehicle is not fixed yet.

For further information, please email me at germany_lori@yahoo.cm More
