I bought a brand new 2024 Telluride in Feb. I was convinced into buying the extended warranty protection plan. Now to be fair to them, they willingly cancelled it too when requested by me. But their pitch was strong so I ened up buying it again from them. In Apr, my car is at 1694 miles. I have had the need to be at the service center for 5 times now. None of the time I was provided a rental car as was a part of the extended protection plan. All i was offered was a shuttle ride to and from the service center to my work. Last time my engine light was on. They suggested to leave the car at dealership or take it home and bring again once they had the part. Again, i was refused a rental car. Luckily they managed to get the part same day from somewhere and i took my car delivery. But the experience of new car has been very unpleasant. I honestly felt, i was refused the rental service because maybe i was not American’ enough for them to receive the service. I wanted to cuss and be mad, but maybe I still have that immigrant mentality and just was calm and patient with them, terrified that they won’t fix the car completely if i showed any aggression. I just hope dealership takes some action after this review and treat all their customers equally and nicely. More
