Dream Car Found at Isringhausen Imports 1,200 Miles From Me! In 2015 I decided that if I had my life to live over I would have bought a beautiful Porsche 911 and drive it every day! I researched to see if I coul In 2015 I decided that if I had my life to live over I would have bought a beautiful Porsche 911 and drive it every day! I researched to see if I could realize my dream! I wanted an air-cooled 911, pre-1998. After much reading about the various generations, models & build-options, I focused on buying a late-model 911 from a Porsche Dealership with a CPO Warranty (certified-pre-owned). I zeroed-in specifically on the "997" generation from 2005 to 2011. After much reading I refined it to the 997 "Gen 2" 911s from 2009-2011. I kept reading and studying and I refined it to be a rear-wheel-drive coupe, non-turbo, non-S, automatic transmission, very low mileage AND silver in color! I researched every dealership's inventory within 1,200 miles of my home and made a chart of my findings. I was discouraged that there were no cars meeting my needs within 300 miles and even then they were the wrong colors. I ranked my choices and the #1 choice was in stock at Isringhausen Imports, 1,200 miles from home! I contacted the dealership through its website & inquired about the specific car that I wanted. From that point on the transaction came together very quickly & smoothly. I was able to determine that the actual car was real, that it was in the condition I wanted, that it drove as expected and that I could acquire it sight-unseen with the necessary contingencies. My car was delivered to my home 2 weeks later as agreed. It exceeds my expectations in all respects. More
