If you are looking for DECEPTION and poor costumer service after a Sale, then this place is the right place for you. I recently purchased a VW Atlas from them and love the truck, but the process I went through is the exact opposite feeling. Although it began on the right page, beyond that point is where it all went wrong! I was sold a truck they located from another dealer with the specifics I was looking for, but only to find out they were delaying my purchace of that truck so that they can figure out how they could sell a similar truck that they had in their lot. They accomplished that by telling me 3 weeks later that they had a truck with the exact specifics except for color. I agreed because I was told I would get it quicker, which again was all a lie. The original truck included the black wheel package on the truck, but the second truck I eventually agreed to did not have that wheel package even though I was told did have it. At the point of purchase is when I was told the wheels would be ordered and put on at a later date. Now I’m stuck with a second set of tires that is a very big inconvenience and not what I originally agreed to and of course the real reason was so they could sell a truck off their lot and not another dealers lot. There is so much more to this story, but I will not bother. More

Best Car Buying Experience Ever - Danielle is the greatest! My experience at Island VW was better than any car buying experience I've ever had - and I've purchased or leased 16 vehicles in my lifetime (most of My experience at Island VW was better than any car buying experience I've ever had - and I've purchased or leased 16 vehicles in my lifetime (most of them through Ray Catena). The reason for such a great experience? Danielle Mantone! Danielle is the most pleasant, personable and knowledgeable salesperson I've ever dealt with - by far! I've never met anyone who takes more pride in what she does or where she works. She know EVERYTHING about the brand, the vehicles, the features, the buying process - EVERYTHING! If you're looking for a great car at a great price with a great buying experience - run over to Island VW and ask for Danielle. She'll probably greet you at the door, but if she doesn't, ask for her! Lee Morgan, the sales manager and Lisa in the finance department are also a pleasure to work with and Tony Mays is a true gentleman - I had a fascinating conversation with him while waiting to sign the lease papers. Easy, Stress-Free, Best dealership experience ever ! Walking into a car dealership is one of the most dreadful experiences i find myself in every few years. I always come in having the feeling I am going Walking into a car dealership is one of the most dreadful experiences i find myself in every few years. I always come in having the feeling I am going to be taken for my shorts. Island Volkswagen dealership was the only place I have not felt like that, and i have bought and leased cars from several different dealers over the years, My husband was the first to go to the dealership to check out a nice gently used GTI on the lot that he had seen on the nicely designed website. Ashley Medrano, who is part of the professional sales team, was our first contact. She is so friendly and helpful, she let him test drive the car and explained all the options it offered. I went the next day with my husband to see his potential new car, and while I was there I mentioned my lease would be up in 3 months for my current car. They politely introduced me to the Jetta, without being pushy. They let me also test drive it and Ashley again explained all the cool things it had - autoconnect android, heated leather seats, cooled glove box, etc. We then spoke with the manager, Lamore Merchant, who is a true gentleman. My husband and Lamore were able to settle on a price he felt comfortable with for the GTI and also extended its existing bumper to bumper warranties, including tires/wheels etc, for an affordable price. I also had an excellent experience with Lamore, as he was able to take in my existing lease and offer me a monthly payment for the Jetta that worked for me. There was no back and forth 15 times of "let me run these numbers over with the Wizard of Oz in the back". No one tried to push me into a vehicle that I couldn't afford. In addition, he took time to search for the specific color I wanted and was able to locate it. The next step was paperwork, which usually makes me break out into a sweat or hives. However, Michele Neri, of the Finance department,was extremely knowledgeable and took us through the paperwork for the 2 cars. She explained everything in great detail and answered all our questions with full confidence. Michele made us feel comfortable to say the least, and made the final process a breeze. Overall, this entire experience was fun, as stress-free as possible...and dare I say...enjoyable. So if you are looking for a Volkswagen like my husband was, or you never sat foot in a Volkswagen (like me)....you should stop into Island Volkswagen and check them out. You will find a refreshing professional team of humans (not robots) who actually want to help you. You don't have to go to Jersey first, I swear. More

Phenomenal Service - ask for Danielle OK absolutely had to write this review because this was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had (and I've purchased 7 cars in my lifetime). OK absolutely had to write this review because this was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had (and I've purchased 7 cars in my lifetime). Submitted an inquiry online and got a call back from Stewart who was super friendly and an outside-of-the-box thinker. I was looking for a 2017 but I didn't like the price point they were giving me so he offered a new 2016 (I carfax'd it. It was definitely new) and it worked out perfectly. He handed me off to a direct VW only sales person - Danielle. Danielle was fantastic and called me back right away and we agreed on a the price I wanted literally in minutes. Her manager was close by and she basically hollared over to him what I was coming back with and he said "Done". Danielle was just phenomenal. I know this probably sounds too good to be true but here's what she actually did for me. 1) Texted me pictures of the sticker info and photos of the car 2) Took me for a test drive 3) Patiently explained to me and showed me how to use the infotainment system (CarPlay, music settings, etc.) 4) Offered me coffee but when I asked for tea, which they didn't have, she ran to a cafe to get me one just the way I liked it and even called me to ask which flavor I wanted (I wanted raspberry). 5) Took all my info for the trade in and got my the price I wanted for it (minus a couple of hundred but that wasn't a big deal) and did NOT make me do the dreaded back and forth while she "talks to the managers" and try to insult me by giving me a super low value for my trade in. I really appreciated that. 6) Offered to join in on the staffs lunch order lol 7) Helped me take all my possessions out of my old car and put them into my new one 8) Offered to drill holes for the license plate holder in my front bumper. 9) May CarFax report showed a recall on the suction pump. I mentioned this to her and she had them replace it right there. It took a little while but otherwise, I would've been out of there in a very short time. The General Sales Manager, Lamore, was also very helpful and reasonable. He accepted an email of a fedex label and photo of the check as proof enough to let me drive away with the car. Finance lady Michelle was also nice. Not pushy at all and just walked me through signing the necessary documents. No hard sell on anything. I am still in shock that this whole experience went so seamlessly. I would definitely recommend this dealership and especially Danielle to anyone looking for a great price on a new VW. More
