I must say the Service Advisor Cris Wlsh is a wonderful person to meet. He managed clear my mind on the car I just purchased. He and his team gave me a fully detailed report and took time to explained everything to me. For sure I will be visiting this place soon for my scheduled services. The waiting area was so relaxing with a beautiful leather couch and fresh coffee for us while we waited for our car t o be fixed. Lydia explained that we needed an air filter and showed us how clogged it was and she was so helpful. Even the technician, Tony came out to explain when we would need to come back in the future for additional service. I would recommend this dealership to everyone I know. More
The General Manager, Jimmy Demarco was very polite, courteous, and professional. I felt a warm family-friendly feeling while shopping for a new car. Had to replace my driver side mirror on my Jetta. Went to the dealership and spoke with Ben who was extremely helpful. He went out to my car with me and told me all the parts that needed to be replaced. Came the dealership and spoke with Ben who was extremely helpful. He went out to my car with me and told me all the parts that needed to be replaced. Came back two days later and dealt with Eric and Chris in service and had my mirror installed on the car for me. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was extremely helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone. More
I haven't purchased my vehicle yet, and I'm highly debating on whether or not I should just get my deposit back and go somewhere else. Although I am completely in love with the car I want to get, the "customer service" they have is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I'm a college student on a budget, but I have excellent credit and a nice down payment available, or so I thought. I want to put X amount down, the salesperson told me that "Well we don't know how much you can put down". I asked him numerous times what my monthly payment would be if I put X down and he tells me "that's not my department, I don't know!". Never mind the fact that he was throwing numbers at me the day before. He's also pressuring me into buying the car. Telling me he has called Geico and to just bring in my plates and everything will be taken care of, meanwhile I haven't even purchased the vehicle. I keep telling him I won't buy it until I know if I can even afford the monthly payments. He disregards my concerns. I asked how much the bank is letting me put down. He disregards the question. I'm giving you $13k. Don't I deserve to know what the xxxx is going on? I'm thinking of just buying it if I can afford the payments. Because after I make the deal, I don't have to deal with this shiesty salesperson or dealership ever again. I'm NOT going to bring it there to get serviced. I already heard it's a rip off. More
My experience at Open Road VW on Staten Island was excellent!! I do not understand these poor reviews. The people at the dealerships you visit have their own bills and expenses, you cannot expect to h excellent!! I do not understand these poor reviews. The people at the dealerships you visit have their own bills and expenses, you cannot expect to have everything handed to you at below cost. A car purchase is a negotiation, lets be real. I dealt with Jason who was nothing short of courteous and upfront regarding all aspects of the process. Straight, to the point and no BS you deal with at most dealerships. Tim, another sales manager was also very polite and accommodating. I ended up going home with a Certified Pre-owned 2010 Volkswagen CC and couldn't be happier!! More
Never go to this dealer, they are the biggest rippoff of any Volkswagen dealership in the country. They lied and conned me, about My VK Jetta, they told me it has features it doesn't. They ripped me off on my trade in...a bunch of con artists. If I could get my trade in back I would. That car had more features and more power than this piece of crap and they had the nerve to mock and made fun of me and the trade in. I can not wait to get rid of this car...if I had the money, I would pay if off, trade it in, whatever and go buy a much better car. I would never buy another Volkswagen again. This dealers and salespeople did not even call me after my purchase to see if I liked it or was happy.....they knew they suckered and ripped me off. But to lie to me and then after I sign the paperwork, they were not in the least helpful....this place and people have no class what so ever. The service staff is excellant though and very friendly. The rest of them, forget it. Do not use this place ever, they will rip you off. More
Stay away from this dealership. Nobody knows what the interest rate on a lease is. Tim the manager thinks he is working on the set of Pawn Star. My car was recently totaled during hurricane Sandy. I was working with VW credit and they advised to go back to my original dealer to see if they would do a substitution of collateral . I feel like I am chasing someone at this dealership to return my call. I just called the dealer 4 times and the receptionist either directed my call to the wrong person and then hung up twice. I have to say probably the worst experience you can have at a time like this. They were great when you get the car but good luck afterword's when it counts. More
