On 8/16/2021 while my car was being serviced I came across island toyota dealership. I was thinking about upgrading to an suv or a top trim luxury vehicle. While browsing around I came across an avalon across island toyota dealership. I was thinking about upgrading to an suv or a top trim luxury vehicle. While browsing around I came across an avalon I liked and I fell in love. I even thought about test driving it and buying it that same day! Then I was approached by a salesman by the name of baha. I thought he would've assisted me in narrowing down my choice. Instead he was very dismmive and he even referred me to the used car lot across the street. I then asked him if I could look at a rav 4. he told me without hesitation there were none in stock. As I'm about to exit the dealership I see a RAV 4 right there on the show room floor! While I'm checking out the rav 4 baha is watching my every move and he's not being helpful at all. At this point I'm feeling harassed. This was by far my worst experience shopping for a car ever! If they had better attitude's/customer service at island toyota I would've purchased the vehicle the same day!!!!! I left convinced if you're not of a certain pigmentation/skin tone you're not entitled to customer service at ISLAND TOYOTA. IM APPALLED! VERY DISGRACEFUL! More
Extremely rude, and disrespectful to me. Sal cursed at me in front of customers and threw my paperwork at me all because I answered his question by telling him they were 40 minutes late for my scheduled appo in front of customers and threw my paperwork at me all because I answered his question by telling him they were 40 minutes late for my scheduled appointment time. He then called his boss, whom I had been in contact with because they kept me waiting for hours on a previous service appointment, and lied, saying I had yelled at him. I have never dealt with such dishonesty, incompetence, and rudeness before. Island Toyota, after wasting my time, and ruining any confidence I had that they could repair my car in a timely manner, offered to come pick it up at my house, fix it, and drop it off. I declined their offer, because Sal was so unhinged, I didn’t feel safe entrusting my vehicle, and by extension my family’s safety with him. Island Toyota has not done anything to address Sal’s behavior, but they apologized to me and attempted to sell me a new car. No thanks. I will be taking my business elsewhere and registering complaints with Toyota all appropriate licensing agencies. More

We were told the car would be ready by the end of the day. I thought that was great and went home to wait for the call to pick up the car. It was close to 5pm and neither my brother or I received a call that the ready or that service would be delayed. Since we didn't get the call, my brother called and was told the car wouldn't be ready until the next morning. We called this morning before heading to the garage at 10am only to be told the car would be ready around noon. We got to the dealership and there was only 1 person being taking care of by a female employee at the desk, while two other employees come to the desk and utterly ignored my brother and I. I had to say something to even get acknowledged. Not a SINGLE employee working behind that service desk said hi, I'll be right with you or hello, how can I help you. NO, utter customer disrespect. Eventually James came out and sat at the desk, no hello, how you doing, nothing, just handed my brother the papers and no thanks, nothing. Customer service is the bread and butter of ANY business, period! The individuals working in the office were unprofessional and I'm sure not a true representation of you and Toyota. I will be happy to share my negative experience with the better business bureau and Toyota. My overall customer experience is really a 0 but I gave a 1 star because the car was fixed. While trying to figure out what kind of car would work best for our little family, we narrowed it down to two models and found ourselves at Island Toyota on a warm afternoon. Al was lovely and kind, but o best for our little family, we narrowed it down to two models and found ourselves at Island Toyota on a warm afternoon. Al was lovely and kind, but our 18 month old daughter did not have the patience to be in a dealership for all that time, so we had to leave without making a purchase. We returned almost a month later to work with Ibrahim who was kind, very knowledgeable, and just overall great to work with. We came in knowing what we wanted and we were glad that there was a vehicle on the lot. Within two hours we had our keys and drove home with our new car. Definitely recommend working with Al and Ibrahim. Thank you all! More
Service was excellent from the second I dropped my car off to the second I picked it up. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Besa is very personable and very professional. She made sure I was i off to the second I picked it up. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Besa is very personable and very professional. She made sure I was in and out. The wait was around an hour I didn’t mind it at all. I definitely recommend Island Toyota when servicing your car. More
