Outstanding Customer Service on Saturday, September 05, 2015 I have lived in Staten Island for nearly 40 years, My son-in-law flew into NYC from Phoenix, Arizona on the morning of 09/05/15 and drove me to Island I have lived in Staten Island for nearly 40 years, My son-in-law flew into NYC from Phoenix, Arizona on the morning of 09/05/15 and drove me to Island Subaru that same day to start the process of finding a new SUV for me. That ended up being the only dealership I needed to visit because five hours later, I walked away with brand new beautiful, fully loaded 2016 Subaru Forester!! Matt Rios was the sales associate that worked with us. He gave us a very thorough test-drive and answered all of our questions. Matt was very engaging, knowledgeable and he made me feel very comfortable with the process. Matt advocated strongly for me by negotiating an excellent final price for the amazing new Subaru Forster I was able to drive home that same day. Jason Trotte was the finance manager, who assisted us. He explained all of the financial details in very simplistic and practical language. Jason was very thorough and professional. If you are looking for a Subaru, there's no need to leave Staten Island and go to New Jersey! Island Subaru gave me a very generous offer for my trade-in 2003 Toyota RAV4. Great experience at Island Subaru Matt and Marcus were very helpful with my purchase. I went looking for either an Impreza or a Legacy. Even though the Legacy is more money they did Matt and Marcus were very helpful with my purchase. I went looking for either an Impreza or a Legacy. Even though the Legacy is more money they did not in any way push me towards buying that car. After sitting in both in the showroom, both my wife and I preferred the Impreza. They had the trim line I wanted but not the color, telling me that one had sold a couple of days prior. However they notified me that they had one at their other lot and wold get it to their dealership the next day. I couldn't make it back until a few days later but they assured me they would hold it for me. After my wife and I test drove it, we purchased it several days later. It was a very pleasurable, non-pressurized sale and the negotiations were done civilly and fairly. I recommend this dealership to anyone and have done so already to two prospective buyers. More

Painless transaction the way it should be. I did my homework and shopped the 5 midsized SUV's I was considering. My treatment varied rrom dealership to dealership. One dealrship treated me as an ignorant woman despite acknowledging that I had done my research thoroughly. Salesman Anthony Grippo and Manager Jason Trotte treated my as a serious customer and were very professional in every step of the process. They encouraged me to "shop around" then to give them an opportunity to offer the best deal and service. That is EXACTLY what I did and am very glad for the experience. I give very high grades to Jason especially for explaining the leasing process to my husband and I. There was no pressure, annoying follow up phone calls or condesending female stereotyping.
