His manager Tony I felt was honest and work very hard to make the sale. I had decided several weeks ago to lease a Subaru Impreza basic model.I was directed to this dealership by Truecar.com. Initially I was contacted by email by a Danielle who quoted me a price of $169 monthly for a 36 month lease based on 10,000 miles per year and a downpayment of $1,799. She stated there would be an additional chharge for vehicle registration. I thought I had made an appointment with her forr today December 27. When I arrived I was grreeted by Matt. I told him I was looking for Danielle and he directed me to the next building. They inturn sent me back to Matt. This is when I began to feel that there may have been a bait and switch situation. Here are the reasons why. I was given the initial information on price etc. based on two 2016 Imprezas that were in stock. When I delt with Matt and then Tony the cars Danielle quoted didn't appear to be available. Another haze issue about Danielle was she wasn't quite surwe of the dealership's address. Actually I foud out that she was located in another building wup the road. Also she presented herself as a sales person. I had priced base model Imprezas at four other dealerships and each ranged in price from $218 per month to $238. Now Matt and Tony quoted me about the same. I waws firm on price and was told the $1799 existed but there was no way a $169 monthly payment could be reached. If Matt and Tony were aware that this was a bait and switch neither indicated. They did however find a 2015 premium Impreza that had several upgrades like alloy wheels, heated seats, dimming mirror and more thaat made the $1800 down ppayment and a $220 monthly more palitable. Matt proceeded to personally take the care to be detailed and gave a through delivery walk through of the vehicle. All in all my experience with Matt Rios and Tony was very good. The mysterious Danielle on the other hand has left me with a clouded impression of Island' Subaru's credibility. More

I walked in with the TrueCar price I was willing to pay and that's what I paid. Matt was my salesperson, would recommend purchasing from him! He and Marcus made sure they found the exact model, color, and options I wanted for my 2016 Forester. Would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Subaru, even if they're not from the area. More

I dealt with Daniel Sinnona and he was professional and very patient from start to finish. He addressed all of my questions and concerns. I got a great deal on a car that I wanted and MUCH cheaper than what other dealerships quoted me. Overall, I had a great experience at Island Subaru. If you're not buying your next Subaru from island Subaru, you should. Shoutout to Daniel Sinnona and Marcus Rivera (Manager) thank you guys for working with me and giving me a great deal on a brand new Forester! More

A Great Experience I have never been to a car dealership that had a mission statement posted. Island Subaru has one. The mission statement recognizes not only the dealer I have never been to a car dealership that had a mission statement posted. Island Subaru has one. The mission statement recognizes not only the dealership's goal of providing excellent value for its customers, but also its dedication to providing "the best workplace environment for [its] team members." It also values service to the greater community. I was impressed by this. We had researched our preferred model on the Internet through USAA's TrueCar buying service. Mike Lopez was the first to respond to our internet search. Other dealers took days to get back to us. Although we ended up buying a lesser trim package than the one we had researched, Island Subaru worked to provide us the best value within the TrueCar system. The sales people drive Subarus, and were honest in their assessment of the features they feel work best. Everyone is very friendly, and this dealership is very friendly to military families. Our sales representative, Sal Mazella, was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. Our experience in buying our car was as good as it gets. More
