There were some issues but most importantly, she assured me that I'd be approved, have a car within a couple of days and made sure she had exactly what I wanted. For the record, I did not have any problems with my prior Kia and was happy to stay with them. Two days later I picked up the new Optima and they made sure we were well taken car of. Sometimes dealing with insurance companies and banks are not pleasant, however Krystal made this transaction quite painless. Thank you Island Kia and Krystal. In addition, John, the Finance Manager was the best I have worked with. Not pushy and completely understood what we wanted and did not want. Kudos to John as well. More

After the first lease with Kia in Bay Ridge dealership thought will never get Kia any more, but closer to the end of the lease decided to give it a try and stopped at Island Kia dealership in Staten Island. Joe was our sales helper, very knowledgeable, honest and responsible. He recommended what was the best for us and was very patient with us. Made the whole process run nicely and fast. We got a lot of cooperation from the General Sales Manager, Frank Rao, too, and after seeing the numbers where real we made a deal. After everything was set, numbers were fixed Finence Manager John went over each number in the lease to make sure every number was clear. Thanks guys, amazing experience, great car, VERY HAPPY. THANKS AGAIN. More

He was pleasant , professional and a gentleman, unlike many car salesman who are overly aggressive and obnoxious. At first the sales manager quoted us a price that was more than we wanted to spend. With Yuri's help we got the right price for us. He was able to locate the car we wanted quickly. Great job Yuri!! Yuri was very helpful when we picked up the car and has followed up with us to ensure everything is is going well with the car. Very nice customer service from him and Island Kia. Our only minor issue was with the finance guy who was not even from Kia. I believe he was from the Hyundai dealership helping out that evening. He made us a little uncomfortable and was not clear on added protection costs and a few other concerns we had. However the sale manager did then step in to ensure we felt comfortable and had a better understanding of things. So, overall Island Kia and especially our salesman Yuri, did a great job and we were happy with their service. More

SPIDER WEB IN THE GAS TANK? My daughter took her 2014 KIA, SORENTO in for service as the 'check engine' light had come on. She was told she could not wait while the car was being My daughter took her 2014 KIA, SORENTO in for service as the 'check engine' light had come on. She was told she could not wait while the car was being checked. When she came back she was told that a spider has built a nest in the gas tank vent. A nest in the gas tank vent? First of all, the gas fumes would keep any spider's from even getting close to that vent. Does this service department think they leave the gas cap off when not using the car? To top it off they wanted to charge her $150.00 because "Spider Webs" are not covered under the Warranty. They were hoping for someone stupid enough to believe that and pay the $150.00, needless to say she wasn't! Now lets address that 'She was told she could not wait while the car.' They have awaiting room, do they not want anyone sitting in it? I my self was told two years ago when my KIA had a recall that I could not wait for the car. Believing them I took a bus home and got there just in time to hear the phone ringing telling me the car was ready. Then several months ago it took my KIA in for an oil change and again I was told I could not wait. When I said I was going to wait anyway they then said there were several oil changes ahead of me and it would take hours. Less than thirty minutes later they were done and I was on my way, what are they trying to prove by all this? Take better care of your customers KIA because this is what is stopping ME from trading in my 2011 SORENTO for a 2016, your service department! More
